I came to this place for breakfast with my family and me and my sister ordered the same thing and mine came with RAW mushrooms. I confronted the waiter about it and she claimed it was for "faster service" I didn't receive any compensation for the meal and the worker was not complying with the issue.

I had breakfast at Woody's during a recent trip. OMG, if you want a fabulous treat that's not too unhealthy try the Paradise French toast! A huge portion of French toast sprinkled with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut and powdered sugar! I'm pretty tiny but I wolfed down the entire thing, as my photos will attest! I was there for quite some time and the server was friendly and helpful, providing just the right amount of checking in on the meal. It's a diner so the ambience reflects that. It wasn't too noisy though. I never eat breakfast out so don't really have a comparison for the value. Parking was complementary and available and I was seated right away. But it definitely was a delicious treat which I highly recommend!

Wow what a surprise, this time of yet another dinner monday. For once! We've decided to eat the foods found calmly by ocean breezes of wood diner. Inside the quiet room we found many sauces and jellies plenty for make the toast!! Very quickly mine egg plate appeared from the nice hand of many men. Another Monday classic found by the one and only dining association - Monday Dining Association

garbage place tried to go here they shut down me like I would say 8 o'clock when they're open at 11 said they had no more food so they're shutting down the kitchen like what kind of shit is that that's my first experience walking in there trying the place not from around here and they shut the kitchen down. No you're getting zero stars buddy eat that up owner zero stars and I will keep zero star in your place until, it sticks because that's how shitty of Customer Service you're giving

This is a good solid choice for reasonably priced diner food in Newport Beach, in an area where you might pay $25 for a burger at a boutique restaurant. I came with my partner for a quick bite and it was fast service and the food came quickly because there were only like 4 other patrons there (on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening). The ambiance is better than a Denny's or ihop for sure, it's a very comfortable diner with ample seating and looked very clean. I enjoyed my build your own omelette and my partner's burger looked very juicy and he said it was good. The ingredients were fresh and tasted good/cooked well. I have no complaints about this place, it was an all around good experience. Would return again!

Waitress forgot to return my credit card after the tab was returned. Service was slow and forgot to give us utensils when we asked. The pico de galo and gaucomole on our dish tastes expired. Really
I am here to praise Molly and Ricardo, Molly was super cheerful, and although she was not our server, she definitely took up the slack with a smile on her face. Ricardo was the buss boy, and he never stopped working the entire time we were there. We were so impressed, that I had to ask him his name and tell him what a great job he was doing. I only wish our server had been as great as these two were.

Great staff, nice, friendly.Vanilla malt excellent. Fish&Chips weak. Tougher fish, and soggy batter. No crisp to it at all. Sorry. Beer batter fries and coleslaw very good. Get the Malt, fries, and coleslaw but pick a better main dish.Great location too by the way. Thanks. I will be back.I still recommend Woody's
