My fiancée and I are frequent remote workers that used to go to the Starbucks that used to be here. I'm so happy that a black dot coffee opened here and replaced the monopoly of Starbucks! I really like their unique Asian inspired drinks here from Thai tea to Vietnamese coffee and Japanese matcha. Asian inspired coffee & teas . Sterile , stark , cold interiors with huge black signs declaring, "Sleep is Overrated" and "Caffeine Pickup Here" - blatant in your face logos , more suited for a corporate, dt city environment rather than a laid-back beach town such as Newport Coast. The lattes are damn strong which is a plus , but the decor is disappointing & miscast for the area.

Had never had BLK Dot, but have seen it many times before. What a great and unique coffee, unlike anything I have ever had. Service was fantastic! The individual helping me was being trained and he was doing a fantastic job! really friendly staff and amazing location and overall vibe!
