We always love the charm, amazing food and incredible views at the BeachComber. One of our favorite places to visit when we are in California. Highly recommend, I suggest a reservation, and arriving much earlier allowing plenty of time to either take a beautiful walk down or the shuttle from the parking lot, enjoying the ocean views and breeze once down there, stop in the little shops, walk down the new pier and enjoy a drink at their bar all well before your dinner reservation. It adds to the whole experience and makes for an extra special and memorable time to share with friends and family. As for food, don't miss the clam chowder, bloody Mary's, and the roasted artichoke for starters. All entrees are always great as well, love the Brussels sprouts as a shareable side, and even desserts of there's still room, even just one to share & taste it all. Enjoy!

Great seaside dining at Crystal Cove Beach State Park. The sound of waves with children laughing and delicious food can't be beat. Beware though that it is a short hike or trolley ride from parking. And still requires a bit of walking down hill if taking the trolley.

Gabby, our server was a delight but my steak was overcooked and tasteless. We indicated this was a birthday celebration on the reservation and also while at the table but no attempt was made to recognize this. At the end we just wanted to leave but after waiting too long for the check in the cold breeze off the ocean, I had to get up and find our waitress to ask for the check. They used to have blankets to give when it was cool.

We frequently dine at the Beachcomber Crystal Cove, and have a wonderful experience every single time. The food, atmosphere, and service are outstanding!

Reservation process was very easy, the mahi-mahi fish tacos are the best ever, they were accommodating with food allergy request, and I request to have a table with a view of the ocean. Ambience was great I highly recommend the beach, a restaurant.

Great food and service. You park across the street where they have a shuttle bring you over Parking is $20 and the trolly is $2 per person each way Beach casual with first class service and food

Haven't been here for many years. A brief visit to the area, and I decided I had to go there (my sister visited it recently). Oh how glad I am. We had the most sterling waitperson, Taylor. She made our evening an absolute delight. Her energy was just right...genuine, encouraging and informative. We came back for breakfast mostly at her encouragement and because she was working that shift too. The food is exquisite. The ambiance is perfect...beachy vibe, with a fancy feel. Thank you Taylor and thank you Beachcomber!!

We had a wonderful time. This is my favorite restaurant. 3 of my friends have never been there and they loved everything. The weather couldn't have been better. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience ?

Everything was great but the state wants to charge you $15 for parking at night just to go to the restaurant for an hour so remember to take that onto your restaurant bill which is ridiculous. They don't validate your parking anymore and on top of it can they not afford state park to put lights down the trail so you're not walking in pitch black!! ??‍♂️

Such a cute place and so relaxing to listen to the waves coming in and watching the kids play in the ocean as we ate our wonderful breakfast. There were three of us and we all ordered something different. All of us loved our meals and our waitress was outstanding. Walked our food off along the beach. This is a must visit.

The noise level was very high making it difficult to carry on a conversation. Once the plastic sides were lowered, the volume was worse. If the concern is the temperature, then a suggestion is up the heaters rather than lowering the plastic.

Beautiful place to have lunch in Crystal Cove! Great service by our server, Kallie (hope I spelled her name correctly!). She was very attentive and smiling the entire time. Food (clam chowder and salmon dish) was good and the scenery was great looking out at the beach and ocean. Highly recommend you make a reservation in advance as this place gets very busy. Not too bad though mid-week. We went on a Wednesday for lunch and it wasn't too busy.

Kallie and April were excellent! We had great service, food, and giant Bloody Marys that were topped with crab, shrimp, and assorted veggies. The egg dishes were delicious, as well as the Beignets, that we had for dessert! The BeachComber is always a delight!
