Modo Mio Rustic Italian Kitchen

This was a perfect supper spot when staying literally next door at the Marriott VC Newport Coast -plus they give Marriott guests a discount👍
They immediately greeted us with H2O, bread and marinated mushrooms, nice beginning.
My partner had the lasagna (with meat -also have a vegetarian selection) which he said was excellent (large portion, he had the leftover for lunch the next day). I opted for ravioli and when I could not decide between ricotta or butternut -server said she could bring me a 1/2 order of each at no additional charge! Now that is much appreciated service in the day & age. Service was excellent throughout the meal.

The food and service were first cabin ... as it always is. This is a must go to place whenever I'm in Newport Coast.

Patio is right by the parking lot. View of ocean is blocked. Service was terrible. It was as if we didn't even have a waiter. Food was bland. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.

An excellent Italian restaurant. My wife and I really enjoyed the food and the service. The short rib ragout was outstanding as was the cioppino. I highly recommend this place.

Love eating outside and watching the sunset. Beautiful as always in CA. Good was beyond delicious and well priced. We had 3 drinks and 2 meals and an appetizer. It was $100. The servers were very attentive and polite.

Modo Mio makes the best Veal Chop prepared medium rare... very difficult to do. Also, the service and food is consistent. We appreciate and enjoy all the familiar faces and the warm hospitality. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Keep up the excellent work!

Shouldnt defend your patrons when they attack people on the public sidewalk. Just because you guys put tables on the sidewalk don't mean you guys own the sidewalk.

We have never had a bad meal at Modo Mio and we go all the time! The wait staff and management is absolutely stellar. They have the best cocktails in town and their attention to even the smallest detail is deeply appreciated. This is our neighborhood restaurant and a gem!

As usual, the food was outstanding. We're not locals, but have been coming to Modo Mio for years. Highly recommend.
