“The food and service were awesome. The atmosphere is okay, it's basically a sparsely decorated sports bar. The food was all freshly prepared. I believe the fries are hand cut there. The portions were quite large for the money. I had a bacon cheeseburger, and my husband had the tri-tip nachos. Neither one of us could finish our meals.“
“Excellent stop for the most freshest seafood! Hubby's fish and chips were off the charts. My "Melted Shrimp Tacos" were great. The shrimp was the bomb, but next time, I would ask for no cheese on the taco. Shrimp and cheese is a no-go in my world.“
“The best taqueria on the Central Coast! I’ve tried most items on their menu, but their carne asada burrito is amazing. We have also recently used Taqueria El Guero’s taco platter catering option for a party which was a big hit. Not only was the food excellent, but the customer service and delivery far exceeded our expectations.“
“Super easy to order! I reccomend looking at the menu ahead since you order before you sit down. But, the food is great and the staff was very nice and accommodating! The chicken on the taco was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly!Parking: If you are not parking in the handicap, you may have to park a little ways awayWheelchair accessibility: Right next to the handicap parking stalls with easy front door entry and plenty of room inside“
“The staff was very knowledgeable and the food was great. The restaurant is a little small but I feel that's why the food was great. I got the Mar y Tierra fajitas and they were on point. The beef was well seasoned and tender and the shrimp had great flavor. I recommend this place.“
“I'm so glad i stop in this food spot.Just by chance i saw it walking by.I tried thier lunch special and it was delicious, yummy, under $5.Two tacos with papitas, chips & salsa. I will definitely come in again next time I'll sit in the restaurant, I sat outside in the Shaded patio with my service dog and we enjoyed every minute of it I strongly recommend it.“
“Amazing authentic Mexican food! It’s my first being out here in simi Valley and heard about this place. Quesabirria tacos are the bomb!! It’s hard to find a place that has really good ones. And the churros!!!!! Ughh !! Amazing!!!! Definitely coming back!“
“Their lengua tacos are amazing and their grilled onions are on another level. Recommended by a friend, but not sure why there aren't more reviews since this spot was rather busy when I went with a group. Also appreciate their honesty in regards to charging me for a platter instead of 10 tacos individually. Will be back again next time I'm in the area.“
“So we bought some tamales down in orange county that were supposed to be terrific. Had them today and had way too much masa. So I bought some from Cafe Padre, all Carnitas. We tried a couple of those my husband and I and they were pretty good. Just the right amount of spice. I would've liked a little bit more meat, but they were sure better than the other ones.“
“We decided to check Villa Cantina out for dinner while we were in town. So glad we did. The only thing better than the food was the service. Jolene was awesome! The chips were fresh and delicious, the chile Colorado was perfectly spicy, and great beers on tap.“
“I love this spot! I moved up from LA and this was one of the first places I found up here that I liked and had high quality food.Excellent sopes and delicious tacos. Everything is good. I love the pastor! And the owners are always very nice and professional.I do wish they were there more. I hate driving by for some food and they aren’t there“
