Great Mexican food , great customer service.
It's alright and good if you know what to order. Tacos are small but filling. If you want to save a buck and get a lot of food I recommend you get either the burrito or my personal favorite the combination plate. You'll get a decent amount of meat with rice, beans, and 3-4 tortillas. All the food in the plate is really good. The aguas frescas are great too I usually get Jamaica/Hibiscus Iced Tea. Tacos El Rancho is a small restaurant known for its quick service and good food. Despite being busy, the staff works efficiently to serve customers, even late at night. The menu offers a variety of options, including asada and al pastor tacos, with flavorful meat and decent salsa. The tacos are highly praised, with some reviewers rating them 10/10, whether it's pollo, al pastor, or asada, and noting that you really can't go wrong. The place has a simple, hole-in-the-wall vibe that many find charming and one of the better taco spots in the area. The tortillas may be a bit dry, but the portions of meat, especially in the quesadilla, are generous. Customers mention that service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is enhanced by soccer playing on TV, making it a good spot to grab a quick bite after leaving a nightclub or for late-night cravings. Prices are reasonable, with options under $2 on Taco Tuesdays. Some reviews note that the salsa could be better, as it tends to be thin and not very spicy, and the rice and beans portions are small. Recent reviews highlight the Carne Asada Burrito, which is delicious, hearty, and juicy, making many want to order more. Others mention that the food is fresh, flavorful, and not greasy, with a homemade taste. Although the reviewer from the PNW is used to better Mexican cuisine, they still enjoyed the menudo, which was tasty and well-prepared. Overall, Tacos El Rancho remains a popular, affordable choice for flavorful tacos, hearty burritos, and friendly service.
