So I was gonna post a picture of the plate along with this review. But I smelled the yams and ended up going to town on the food before the picture! 🔥 When I tell you this food was FIRE…oh my goodness! Yall gotta try this spot if you’re a fan of authentic soul food!
The food is amazing fresh and seasoned to perfection. I had oxtail greens candy yams chicken fried party wings beans cornbread taste. S like it came right out the oven.It was not too sweet and not too bitter.I loved it, it was amazing.I would definitely be back.I also order Kool aid.I think the red Kool aid would be amazing for you to have.I will definitely be back and I definitely think that you should order it so good to me.I had to do a tiktok

The Soul Kitchen serves authentic soul food that is amazing, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The food tastes like it came right out of the oven, not too sweet and not too bitter. Dishes like oxtail, greens, candy yams, chicken fried party wings, beans, cornbread, meatloaf, pork chops, and Mac and cheese are all delicious. The portions are good, with enough food on one plate to last for a couple of days, and the amount of food for the money is amazing. The red Kool aid is a recommended drink. The cornbread is especially enjoyable, and the food is so good it inspired a TikTok. There might not be as much variety as other soul food places, but what they do, they do phenomenally. There is usually a wait because they are very busy, which is a testament to how good the food is. Customer service is good, with staff patiently answering questions and helping with portion sizes, even on Thanksgiving. This is the best soul food place since moving to California, and it is worth the wait.
