Currently the area is a no go from the creek fires. ?????? This place was so beautiful Wagner store pool resort and campground held so many childhood memories for me I cannot wait for it to come back as beautiful as ever. Over 200+ people rescued during the evacuation in the fires. ? for our hero’s and everyone involved

Great place to fish and camp. Started coming here in 1968. Beautiful area. Only regret was I didn’t get down below dam to fly fish this area.
My wife and mother introduced me to Mammoth Pool several years ago and it is among my best memories. Fishing the streams, water skiing on the lake, horseback riding, etc. The Wagner's are great people and were always friendly and helpful when we went there. My wife wanted her ashes placed there as it was her favorite place of all but was unable to do in 2017 due to fires and have not been able to do it since.
great place for families! clean restrooms and friendly staff!!
Just a little slice of heaven right here. Camp right on the creekside or dont, plenty of places to camp. Phenomenal staff! Thank you Jen and Kyle! Hiking, boating, swimming, biking, fishing, crawdads, kayaking, canoeing, ATV, camper, tent, EVERYTHING is here! You cannot go wrong even just staying for the night!
Nice place lots to do friendly hosts it's our yearly camping destination from now on !!
First, reserve as many spots as you have cars. They charge by the car so there’s no advantage to squeezing many cars into one spot. We weren’t impressed and won’t be back. Difficult to make a reservation. We called many times and did not receive a call back. Spot was dirty. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere. Campfire was filled with big rocks and mud. Bathroom ran out of toilet paper. Trash closed at 6 pm so you had to keep dinner trash in your car overnight. No hookups. Not even water spigots. You have to drive to the camp store to use their hose. Nothing is enforced. People left trash out which attracted bears. No quiet hours. Very loud. Dogs barking, babies crying, and sites are very close to each other. We went to bed at 11 pm - tons of people were still up and being loud, and 3 kids were riding dirt bikes all around the sites (in spite of posted signs saying you can’t). We visited during the coronavirus pandemic. Signs posted at the store said wear masks and only 1 person in the store per group. Went in and there was a big group. No one was wearing masks except a few workers who had them loosely over their mouth only. Been here many times over the years. This last time was the straw. Done making excuses for them because the area is beautiful.
Great place to beeeeeeee°°°!!!
The store has so many stuff to choose from they have a little tiny dally with practically a whole kitchen worth of stuff The prices in the store are affordable At night is quiet there so many stars in the sky never seen so many stars in my life it's a gorgeous place

Amy is very sweet and accommodating! She makes you feel like family.
Coldest campground to Mammoth Pool. No hooks ups so come prepared. Beautiful camping spots near creek and giant pine trees. Friendly hosts and guests. Store has many items including ice and restaurant.
