Bear West BBQ & Soul Food Reviews
My husband and I went on a Friday afternoon. We both had tritip and potato salad and brought the icebox pie home for later…everything was delicious. We will definitely go back.
My brother and I were on a "steak run" road trip last summer when we decided to deviate from the plan and try some BBQ instead. We selected Our Family BBQ based on recent ratings and proximity to our camp site. Talk about hitting the jackpot! The BBQ was OUTSTANDING and the portions were HUGE! And at a fair price!!! Most amazing BBQ, the meat was so tender, the sauce is so tasty and delicious. The collard greens were so good and the Mac N Cheese was so cheesy and delicious. We will be coming back for sure. This is truly the best bbq in Sacramento and the owner Steve is so nice, awesome customer service and yummy cinnamon water

Bear West BBQ & Soul Food offers top-quality BBQ, with their Tri-tip being a standout dish praised for its juiciness and tenderness. The ribs platter, served with fresh potato salad and mac & cheese, is highly recommended. Customers often mention that the ribs are fall-off-the-bone and very meaty, with in-house BBQ sauce enhancing the flavor. The cabbage is considered the best side, and the cornbread is especially tasty. For dessert, their banana pudding is a popular choice. The atmosphere feels like an old country kitchen, cozy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and family-oriented. Seating is limited inside, so arriving early is advised, especially if you want to enjoy the sweet potatoes. Though there may be a wait, the satisfying food makes it worth it.
