I came to Manna Thai and have to say, I’m really impressed with the flavors here. I was honestly a little scared to drive over in 113 degree weather, but surprisingly, it wasn’t an issue at all once I got here. The place was comfortably air conditioned. The spice kick is perfect just enough heat so you can enjoy all the flavors in the peppers, onions, and sauce without anything getting lost.

The biggest surprise for me was the papaya salad. Normally, I can’t even take the smell or taste of papaya salad, and I’ve tried it in many places over the years. But this one? Easily the best papaya salad I’ve had since 2012. It completely changed my mind.

Next up, the cashew nut chicken absolutely delicious. I ate it so fast I didn’t even have time to find the words to describe it.

And then there’s the sausage. This is something you have to try for yourself. The flavor is incredible, and the presentation alone makes you want to dig in. You can tell it’s made in house, authentic, and homemade just by looking at it.

I’ll definitely be coming back not just for new dishes, but to enjoy these favorites all over again.
Thank you, Owner Ya and Chef Otto

Came in on a hot 113 degree Sacramento weather for a work appointment. The place had a beautiful and spacious ambience. We ordered Lao sausages, papaya salad lao style, chicken cashew nut, sticky rice and Thai iced tea. Whenever I suggest Thai or Lao food to my bf, he gets worried because he knows that I have to order papaya salad Lao style because of the smell. I would usually have to finish one order of papaya salad by myself while he watches with a sour face. This time, I had to make sure he didn't finish all of the papaya salad before I could have any. He said that it is the best Lao papaya salad he's ever had. The Lao sausages were also a hit. The server said that it was made in house. We even asked the chef if he can sell them raw for us to take home since we're from the South Bay. He said that they don't have enough to sell for the rest of the day. It just means that I will have come back here whenever I am in town.

Food was very expensive. Size of the food was very less compare to the other thai food places.

The worse restaurant I ever tried, the service was horrible.

Overall a terrible interaction. The portion sizes are terribly small for how much everything costs. For example I could fit the entire serving of broccoli beef with peanut sauce in a single hand. They forgot two items from our order of over $200 and their solution was for me to drive another 10 minutes to go pick it up. The food tastes good, but I will never be patronizing this restaurant again.

Nice quiet place after work on Good Friday. May God bless these guys.

Definitely a strong peanut-y taste for the dish. Was expecting it to be a little lighter yet still “Aloye”, nonetheless.
