This place is seriously amazing.
The food is VERY authentic. I tried several plates and everything I ate was very tasty.
I would say it's the best Caribbean restaurant I've eaten at in the Sacramento area.
Will definitely go back there soon. Highly recommend.
My favorites were the yucca frita (fries) and the beef empanada. Couldn't wait to have yucca! Just simple goodness and I should've ordered more.
We thought the entree size was average.
We also liked the papa rellena and the Cuban rice (the dark one with beans mixed in). The ropa vieja beef was ok. We plan to come here and try more.

Food tasted good, but the portions are SO small. Wow. You will pay $20 to get a kids portion. If you eat an adult sized meal you will leave still hungry from here. Great cook, but they skimp on food here. If the portions were double this would be a 5 star review.
Came to this restaurant with my husband he’s from the Dominican Republic so I’ve been looking for some type of Dominican food. That’s close to his culture. Decided to give this place a try oh my God the food is in 100 out of 100. It’s some of the best food I’ve ever eaten and they are very fast with big portions we have the empanadas is and the oxtails everything was excellent. I had no complaints.

The Lechon Asado was both very delicious and at an extremely affordable price for the portion they provided. The sampler platter had a bit of everything, and it's definitely worth ordering. The staff were very welcoming and informative. I also recommend having a piece of flan before leaving.
There aren't many Cuban restaurants in the Sacramento region that I know of, so I'm very happy to have found this place.
I like trying new places and this one blew me away with their food. The food was well worth it in the end. The sandwiches number 11a was so good even a day later. The grill chicken and rice was delicious, that even a day later when it was eaten, my father asked if I had just gotten it because it taste freshly cooked. If you are looking for a party for your taste buds, come try the food here. They also have expresso to drink
