Quick service, nice employees, food is solid. Their website says a large Avocado Turkey Bacon sandwich is $10 but it's actually $15 Update the prices on your website!

Little diner on the side of the road but lots of flavor. The lady at the register is a bit high strung but she is cool. The food is great and good prices. Can get Korean and a phili cheese. Food is made fresh and delicious. I sit down sometimes and the people that come in are working class. Worth the money and time!Kid-friendliness: Small diner and home feeling. The food is good for kids.Parking: 8 spot in front of the building and more next to the liquor storeWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out and order outDietary restrictions: You can have it made your way.

The ambiance and customer service of Captain's sub shop is fantastic. My family and I got a cheeseburger combo for my sister (cheeseburger, fries and a drink), a 10" Philly cheesesteak, a 6" Philly cheesesteak, and a coke for $40+. The Philly cheesesteaks were okay. There are definitely other places that are better. The cheeseburger my sister ate was terrible. It was meatloaf meat which was weird and gave the burger a weird taste. Again this is my opinion and everyone's taste buds are different but I will not be coming back here to eat again.

It was alright. I get that it's near an airstrip and there's not much else around, but the prices are kinda up there. 3 bucks for a can of pop, really?

The first time I came to this little corner sandwich shop on the corner of Roscoe & Woodley Ave was 1981. The sandwiches were great then and today I stopped by to see if things had changed. The sandwiches are exactly the same and the cost is not that expensive. Yes, it was a trip down memory lane for me but we’ll worth it. It was a great place to eat for people who worked at Van Nuys Airport and it still is today.

Tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich as the lady behind the counter said it's the most popular sandwich. Honestly there was nothing exciting about it or anything different on the flavor. Mushrooms, bell pepper, grilled onions, white cheese, and semi good sliced steak meat

Good food, great prices. Always a clean and neat place to eat. I the Turkey & Cheese Sandwich with fries. Delicious! They added crispy bacon for me and that was level up! My husband always gets the Philly cheese steak sub. So good.

Very impressive! Extremely fresh veggies with bright Italian dressing on my cold cut sub. Did not skimp on the meat 10/10

This place is now a mishmash. Asian owned and operated. It is no longer owned by the original owner. it's a real rinky-dink operation you may or may not get the items you ordered. everything here is cheaply done. Basically the lady who owns it does a lot of shopping at the 99 Cents store. buyer beware I was feeling adventurous and wanted a change for lunch. whoops I should've just gone to Subway.
