My husband and I love going to Grill City especially on the weekends when we're both craving some really good Filipino breakfast for a very reasonable price! There has been a BOGO recently for breakfast and so that's a really great deal! We love getting the Longsilog, tapsilog and tocilog (chicken tocino though) and their serving is pretty big! Other than that, their bbq chicken, grilled fish, bicol express (when they do have it) is pretty good too but the pricing for the bbq is pretty expensive tbh.For the most part, the service I guess depends on the day you go lol. Sometimes the employees are nice and friendly, sometimes they seem kind of cranky, but it also depends on how busy it gets and when it is really busy, you will be waiting for some time. But I mean I'm just there to get the BOGO breakfast also, I suggest going early (around 8am-9am but breakfast is until 10am) for breakfast because the food does run out quick. Not sure how long that promo will last but it is a great deal so you don't wanna miss out on that!

Try their Grilled Mackerel!! Flavorful. The mixture is delicious. Feels right at home. Coincidentally still B1T1 ?

If you're Filipino-American or someone who isn't a native Filipino, expect to be ignored for 10 minutes while there are 3-4 employees present (one of which including a manager). I understand that prepping the fish is important, but you can literally coat it in an efficient manner just in time to help your customers. You can't just make eye contact with me and not say anything. It wasn't even busy either.Didn't even get a "one moment please" or "someone will help you in a moment", etc. Just completely ignored.Literally once I walked off did the manager decide to help the customer who was in line after me.

Mala, mala, mala, nada de lo que comas ahí sirve, cualquier puesto de comida en la calle está 10 veces mejor que esta basura.

This place isn't even grill city it's called something else. They need to update the menu.

I almost never come here to get food, not because of the quality or service or anything like that. I guess I've just grown up with a house of Filipinos who always eat this. If it's not this, it's fast food or my mom takes us out to a nice restaurant. Although I'm Filipino, surprisingly I'm never craving this food! I guess I've grown up eating Italian or fast food and Japanese food and everything BUT Filipino food to not want it ever. There are rare occasions where I'm craving tosilog or some adobo or palabok but it's definitely once in a blue moon. My mom brings home food from this place every now and then, probably because it's quick and easy. It's not my kind of food but I do like a good longanisa and garlic rice and the added egg is a plus! We have a go to spot that makes amazing garlic riced and has a good garlic vinegar sauce to drizzle over your food but this one was a bit boring. It's basically just vinegar. It looks like they tried to add garlic but you can't even taste it. Most places added pepper too, to give it more flavor which I feel was needed.Anyway, the longanisa was delish! Egg was okay, feels like a weird, cheap McDonald's egg or something. I think they just cook it weird? Maybe a runnier egg would be better. The garlic rice was okay. It did have a weird taste that maybe it sat out too long or something but I ate it anyway because I was pretty hungry. The annoying thing was that it still had some of the garlic clove skin? Not edible, it was very hard, and just overall annoying to deal with. I wish they'd properly peel their garlic or cook it to where it's crispy maybe? I won't go out of my way to eat the food here but the longanisa is probably the best thing here. IG: @ammysalamii

I called to complain about the hardest cheapest cut of uncooked meat from the kare kare. It's insulting that they would serve such bad Kare kare. Did the cooks and the people that hired them grow up with mothers and Lolas that didn't know how to cook so they think meat that has not been tenderized at all BY COOKING IT LONGER IS NORMAL? Or are they just lazy, in a hurry, or too cheap to have quality control? ANYWAYS THE WORST PART IS THEY HUNG UP ON ME! I explained to the lady who answered, the purpose of my call and she said, after I told her about the sad, disappointing and disgusting Kare Kare, she would get the manager and proceeded to put me on hold. A few minutes later someone picked up and silently hung up on me. Wow. What a wonderful representation of Filipino attitude and customer service. Nakakahiya. So shameful.

The Barbeque on stick is their specialty. However, there's a lot of fat in the stick. The food is a little bit pricey for me.

Well let me start saying I was so excited going to Grill City for breakfast because the last time I went there I was overwhelmed by the servings and quality of food they gave me, but this time I'm like WTF happened the corned beef it's more potatoes on it, fried rice soaking in oil , beef tapa is hard and dry, arros caldo its more on caldo no arros no meat and even the lady server looks like she's not even happy working in there no smiles just attitude, I will never going back to eat there again and I will never recommend that place to anyone if I can only give a 0 star I will give them 0 cause that what they deserved my advice close your restaurant before its too late or maybe it's too late customers not going back there anyways.

The food is not good here. It's not fresh. Rice smells almost spoiled. I tried the chicken inasal combo and the guy working on the grill gave me a piece of chicken that's not even grilled yet. It was very yellow. I told him that I want mine really grilled. The other dish that came with it was watered down. The only good thing to get here were the cakes

Just ordered here and definitely not coming back. We went grocery shopping and my partner wanted the skewers. I decided to get the combo meal and now that I'm eating it? Immediately regret it. As the other reviews, it's extremely overpriced. I saw they added a new batch of dinuguan, which is my fave dish. I'm sad it's bland tasting and the bangus sisig is not good at all. We were waiting in line for what seemed like forever. The older Filipina women were practically catering to this older filipino man (not a senior) who was holding up the line and asking for everything.Honestly, you're better off going to House of Grill on Devonshire and Balboa. Service there moves way faster. And the dishes taste way better! Give free soup and they know how to move people in and out. In my experience, they are way nicer too. I should've known better. I get why my parents always go to House of Grill instead.

I come to this location because it is very close to my house and I actually like their pork adobo meal. Recently, the service has been awful and the pork adobo is no longer available or something. Today I stopped in for some lunch to go and of course the service is very very slow. They need more people as they get a lot of customers and there's only like one person helping the line while the other is on the cash register. The wait was about 15 minutes which is not as bad as other days. Well, got my lunch and then drove to my destination and started to eat my lunch when I discovered a fly on the noodles. Needless to say, I'm disgusted by this and couldn't continue eating my lunch.
