I love Manila Sunset!!! This is the perfect place to satisfy my cravings for traditional Filipino flavors like pancit malabon, bibingka, lumpia sariwa, crispy tokwa't baboy, and goto, to name a few. The service is always excellent and fast. I was just here three weeks ago and noticed they now have a new male staff member working alongside the pretty lady at the front cashier. Both were friendly and helpful. Their teamwork was superb!

First let me start with the best fricking customer lookservice. This is the North hills location. I wasn't sure what to order. She explained the menu. Her smile won me over. The food chefs kiss. 10/10

This is our go-to spot for quick take-out Filipino dishes. They also serve some hard-to-find Filipino favorites like Pancit Malabon, Bibingka, and Puto Bumbong, which are always a big hit with our family—especially during parties.

On top of that, the customer service is impeccable. I especially remember one visit when I made a special request for my Bibingka (no sugar). The staff member who took my order—I believe her name was Paloma—was incredibly attentive. She noticed that the first two Bibingkas didn’t meet my request and sent them back until the kitchen got it perfect. Thanks to her attention to detail, I went home and enjoyed my treat without worrying about my blood sugar spiking.

I’ve visited this Manila Sunset location in North Hills multiple times, and every experience has been excellent. My absolute favorites from their menu are the Pancit Malabon—no other place makes it quite like Manila Sunset—and the bibingka, which is always perfectly cooked: moist, fluffy, and delicious. I’ve also tried several other dishes on the menu and have enjoyed every one of them. If you’re looking for authentic Filipino cuisine, this restaurant is a must-try.

Despite how busy the restaurant usually is during my visits, I’ve consistently received outstanding customer service from Paloma, one of the cashiers. She is always welcoming, offers a warm smile, and is efficient, accurate, helpful, and professional. I’ve even seen her step away from the cashier area to clean up a table left untidy by customers—clearing the trash, wiping it down herself, or picking up litter from the floor.

Not every fast-food and restaurant employee goes above and beyond like that. It’s clear Paloma takes pride in her work, and I hope management recognizes what a valuable team member they have in her. Working in food service isn’t easy, but employees like Paloma truly elevate the customer experience.

Kudos to the entire team at Manila Sunset for maintaining such high standards in both food and service!

Best Filipino food in the valley! I can always come in and guarantee my food is going to be fresh and right off the grill! I can’t thank Leri and her team enough for always providing me with excellent service and a friendly attitude!

cashier has an attitude. food quality is not very good. I didn't mind waiting a long time if the food was freshly made. but when I got my food, it took about 20min long. to make matters worse, it the malabo sauce spilled all over the bag, which was really messy n greasy. lechon kawali was difficult to chew and not hot n crispy. It wasent a very delightful experience. This place is very far and pricy and for the food quality is very poor.

Their Bibingka (Rice Cake) is to die for. Definitely a craving properly satisfied. It was fluffy and buttery and moist. And the coconut on the side was perfect too. We also got the Halo-Halo with Ube Ice Cream and Leche Flan. I paid 30-31 for 2 bibingka’s and 2 halo-halo’s including tax.

My wife didn't check the order. She trusted the order taker/cashier and just took the order home. When I opened the order for my snacks, the puto (rice cake) was hard and probably previously frozen, instead of fresh cooked puto. It was too far and hazard to go back to complaint and get exchange or refund (if that is still possible), so I just microwave and ate some and throw away more than half. Even after microwave it, the outer side (rim) was so hard. Also the dinuguan was cooked with old oil, (I presumed) as it had that old oil smell and taste. We won't be patronizing Manila Sunset again.

Very disappointed and feel scammed! I ordered 3 dishes for Christmas Eve - pancit malabon was spoiled and Sisig meat was hard/tough to chew, only the dinuguan tasted okay but the portion for the price paid was not worth the price! Btw, I paid almost $200 for a small plate size of dinuguan and medium sizes of pancit malabon and Sisig!

This place has decent food.

I ordered dinuguan and palabok at this location. Dinuguan is too oily; meat must be a combination of pig ears and lots of fats. The taste is not even close to dinuguan, more like nilaga! Please google dinuguan recipe to do justice for the $14.00 + charge for a cup size order.

Palabok is only okay. Do you really have to add a strong taste of sesame oil? Shrimps are not only small; they were even cut in half!
