I ordered dinuguan and palabok at this location. Dinuguan is too oily; meat must be a combination of pig ears and lots of fats. The taste is not even close to dinuguan, more like nilaga! Please google dinuguan recipe to do justice for the $14.00 + charge for a cup size order.
Palabok is only okay. Do you really have to add a strong taste of sesame oil? Shrimps are not only small; they were even cut in half!

the cashier is grumpy!
I ordered Tocino and it was pretty good. It had the right amount of rice to meat ratio if that makes sense. The Crispy Pata is also really good! But be prepared to wait about 20-30 minutes for that item.

Today 10:45 am, I drop by to they’re branch 9516 sepulveda blvd, north hills 91343. I ordered 2 bibingka, 1 pancit malabon, 1 halo halo and a big crispy pata(one size) only, which is quite expensive, but it’s ok I can afford it. After 45 minutes all my orders were ready. I’m excited about the crispy pata but to my surprise it looks like it’s overcooked because it’s a little bit burned. I can tell because I’m a cook and I know if it’s overcooked or not and the result? It taste bitter because it’s burned from the deep fryer. As for me no problem but they insist that that’s the way they cook. OMG I was astonishedbecause how could that be their standard, it has a bitter taste. I believe no human being would like that kind of taste. Quite upsetting. I just told them if they keep on doing that they will lose valuable customers like me. So I’m rating them 1 star for their attitude. Thank you. Hope this will be published…….

Their bibingka is delicious! Custard like texture and sweetness is just right. Pansit can use more vegetables and meat toppings.Their mungo and the tortang talong were tasty and flavorful. The torta was a bit oily, but overall the dishes were tasty.

The atmosphere feels like home and the workers are all very kind! I ordered take-out for a group of four and got the food pretty quickly! I’m pescatarian and the fried bangus plate was fantastic, with a great crispy texture. I will definitely come back again when in the area!
