“The food looked amazing and it was pouring outside so we decided to get the food delivered using door dash.
Unfortunately, it showed up room temperature.
But once we heated it up, it was good enough.
That said, I would definitely pick it up myself next time or going to try inside the restaurant. The taquitos were dried, over fried husks to the point that they had very little flavor. (Like it was under the heat lamp for too long and then cooled down to room temp)
The garlic fries had no initial flavor, but you still get the garlic breath lol. Not sure what happened with that … what makes me wanna give them another chance was The wet pork burrito - probably the best item
Over all., but it also arrived room temperature and needed to be heated. I think it was the beans that were way salty... not sure because I mixed with the rice so I couldn’t quite tell.

All said and done I think the pork was probably hands-down the best part of the meal. We also got a tortia pork sandwich. That we were gonna say for lunch tomorrow.
However, we finished it up… but would say that the bread was not that great, unfortunately.
. I’ll check back later once I’ve tried in house.“

“Food and service are always great. You’re seated quickly, food comes out hot and fast and it’s a cozy & comfortable dinner like vibe. Ample seating and very good energy via waiters and hostesses. Food doesn’t disappoint especially for the price point. The only downside is when bar backs are sorting clean silverware they’re very heavy handed so I recommend sitting as far away from the kitchen as possible as it’s a bit abrasive on the ears. If you’re sensitive to sharp pinging and metal on metal clanking sounds you’ll thank me. Love the place and have been a satisfied patron for over 20 years. Thank you Versailles!“

“The Jamaican it's a beautiful life was peaceful, Quiet and serene. I ordered the oxtail plate with rice, beans,plantain and cabbage with a side order of white rice and side order of macaroni and cheese. The food was tasty and enjoyable, I was able to finish all. We were greeted warmly by our waitress, escorted to our seats, and seated promptly. the vibe was incredible! the restaurant is a hidden gem in DTLA. It is tucked away, and the staff was on point. the food was so fresh and tasty and the drinks were perfect. she loved it! we will visit again soon!“
