Crazy and rude man who can’t stop yelling to listen to my order. It’s rare to find someone so unpleasant to interact with, it makes me refuse to go. I’ll go elsewhere and save myself from listening to him rant or make random racist comments.
The place is unsanitary and you risk food poisoning. He gave me hot sauce that sits outside in a non-AC room and has obviously gone bad. So I wouldn’t trust how he handles his ingredients.
Also, he refuses to update his menu, so the prices are wrong, half the items are unavailable, and there is no delivery. You will get yelled at if you somehow didn’t know all of this magically.
Kicked me out because I was black

Amazing food and amazing service. Quang is very passionate about his craft, including the effort he puts into his food.
Despite this place being takeout only, and cash only, please, Don’t let that stop you from grabbing the best Chinese cuisine in North Hollywood ! And also you can’t beat the prices. The dishes are about $9 each. Sodas are $2.50 each. Ice cold. Enough to serve 2 adults with leftovers. Again, for the search bar’s sake: this place has very good Chinese food!!

The food is amazing, and the owner is 1 of a kind. But is recognized for his food. So get past his rough exteior and try his food, and he is trying to survive by himself. It's really hard to do!!!

This is the healthiest and freshest tasting Chinese I’ve had in the area. It’s worth every penny and more. Some tips for a good experience:
1.Understand and accept that the menu is out of date online and limited. He doesn’t cook pork anymore. He’s eliminated items from the menu that don’t get ordered enough, which I’m sure helps his overhead. For the some of the same reasons.. I also suggest 2. ordering in person…Do not call to order. I can understand why he could be short on the phone. This is a one man show restaurant and he’s cooking, taking payments, everything all at once it seems. 3. Be prepared to pay cash. 4. It’s all cooked to order and I usually wait ~25 minutes or less while he cooks. 5.No dining in, only takeout.
So far I’ve ordered shrimp lo mein, sesame chicken, mixed vegetables, chicken fried rice, and Kung pao chicken, all were incredible. Any three of those selections + white rice were $27 total and it’s a lot of food.

I called based off a review with a picture of the menu saying there was delivery, and when the guy answered the phone he was super rude and said they haven’t done delivery in 20 years…I apologized and empathized on the phone that he was working alone and he just kept berating me and talking to me poorly so I hung up. Maybe don’t put free delivery on the menu if there’s no delivery option at all.
Amazing Chinese food. $11 for the Mongolian beef with a side of rice while my buddy bought the orange chicken. Food was prepared fresh. Owner was hanging out in front, buddy and I walked in and owner jumped up, greeted us, and was very friendly. He cracked multiple jokes which we found highly entertaining .
This is a cash only spot, from personal experience here in LA, these are the best types of shop. Focusing only on the food. Swing by if you want quality, tasty, and affordable food.

Absolutely love this place! Not the fanciest, but the prices are great, the potions can’t be beat, and the man who owns the place is so kind. Cash only and no delivery are the only major downsides, but for take out it is my go-to Chinese place.
