Mofongos offers a taste of Caribbean flavor in every dish, transporting diners to "La isla del Encanto." The rice with pigeon peas stands out. The humble aesthetics of the restaurant are deceiving, as the food is certifiably wonderful and even fantastic according to guests. Eliecer provides excellent service. The gentleman was so nice and welcoming, and the location itself has authentic PR feel. This place is one of the best tasting PR places, even better than many places in the island. Nicely decorated, great service and very savory food. Many dishes are deep fried or high in fat. This place is a must!! Make sure to get ALL. THE. FRITURAS. This is the best Puerto Rican food.
