Popeyes had the best spicy chicken sandwich on the market. But I think they got complacent and it's no longer the case.

The red-haired manager on duty with no name tag was beyond rude and unprofessional. I asked for two wings and was given cold, undercooked/raw chicken—which is disgusting and a serious health hazard. It honestly felt intentional because they didn’t want to sell what I asked for.

After getting a refund, I ordered a 5-piece spicy tender combo and they still messed that up by giving me regular tenders instead of spicy. I called, and instead of handling it professionally, they told me to come back. I brought the entire order back with me, only for them to then say I had to pay for fries that were supposed to come with my combo but they forgot to include.

When I called again to explain the issue, the manager hung up in my face.

After wasting my time and gas TWICE, they only replaced 4 tenders—no fries, no biscuit, nothing else—and acted like they were doing me a favor. My son was extremely upset because the food was for him and his meal was incomplete.

This location is horribly managed, the staff is careless, and the customer service is trash. If you value your money, time, or health, avoid this Popeyes.

I absolutely love this Popeyes it’s my favorite one in LA county. I drive past several others to eat at this location. The food is always fresh and carefully prepared. The only reason I subtracted from the service is because they have moved to full AI service in the drive thru and I prefer human to human connection. I’m sure the AI saves money but Popeyes isn’t cheap fast food so I expect live service.

The owner needs to fix the shades. Around 5:00 pm the sun hits directly into the restaurant making it feel like an oven. The A/C does not work properly. I'm a customer taking my food to go but what about the poor employees who have to suffer from the glare of the sun, and the constant heat until closing time. This is not fair and the owner immediately needs to make these repairs.

I have went Popeyes in years. My return to the Valley Village location was regrettable. The beans and rice have an artificial flavor and my wings were soaked in a sauce which I didn’t ask for. Any true Creoles would be ashamed.

The service was great, the only issues is how hot it can get in this location, they should add some air conditioning not only fpr customers but for workers as well.
