Best place for getting fresh Dungeness crab, tiger prawns (sometimes frozen), scallops, clams and all types of fish to cook yourself. Always fresh seafood, with knowledgable and friendly staff. They also have a sister restaurant called Basa which serves delicious fresh Universal Seafood.
Great seafood shop. Ordered oysters and they were very fresh but small. Staff was friendly but not to informed of the products they sell. I was told you just to have call in. Overall oysters were very fresh and delicious.

The only thing I buy from Universal is their salmon. It is always so well cleaned/boned and so, so fresh. I end up buying a lot because now I buy it for friends too. The price is way less than if you bought the same thing in a store. I highly recommend their salmon.
