My husband and I come here often because food is good considering it's all you can eat. Food comes out fairly quickly too even on busy nights.
The only issue I had was they don't have a waiting space, which is fine on a regular day. However, it was really hot one day (105° at 5pm), and the host told us she hasnt texted us to come in yet and we can't wait inside (basically telling us to wait outside). It was a hot day and we had a toddler with us. We came back 25 mins after being quoted a wait of 20 to 30 mins. If it wasnt for a birthday we were celebrating, we would have left.

Took my family for my sister's bday. Priced at $43 for regular, I think it's a decent deal for AYCE. Most of the rolls are relatively fresh and tasty incl my favorite salmon skin rolls. However, their spicy tuna crispy rice is the worst I ever had at any sushi joints that offer it. The service is quick and attentive, but make sure you get here within an hour of opening because the place fills up fast. The 2-hr eating window is generous and tons of variety to choose from. You can mix a la carte and AYCE in one table, but my recommendation is to get AYCE for all parties so you can mix and match.

On Wednesday (September 18th), myself, my dad and two family friends went in at roughly 6:15pm. It was our first time and had read the reviews, which were high, so had high expectations of course. Instead, all four of us have gotten food poisoning, which isn’t the most pleasant. For a $220 bill without tip, definitely was extremely disappointed. Simply a warning to those who go that you may get very sick from food poisoning (throwing up non-stop), and diarrhea unfortunately. Thought Aikan Sushi was good upon leaving, however will never return back now. Beware.

hello.

This is a customer who visits not often, but at regular intervals.

The food quality and service aren't really bad.

The working atmosphere seemed to be good, with employees chatting happily with each other.

However, if I were to say that, I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I had worn a mask or something that prevents spitting.

Watching the roll or sushi making part really lost my appetite.

Please improve.

We wanted to try this place because of all the good reviews. We went in on Friday night around 6 and they weren’t too busy yet. The food seemed fine at the time but we ended up food poisoning. I came to leave a review and it turns out there were others who dined the same week and got food poisoning as well!

Great place for all you can eat sushi and happy hour prices. However they're always out of sriracha but they charge $13 if you bring your own.

Service: The service at Aikan Sushi is consistently great. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’ll appreciate the warm hospitality. However, there have been a few occasions when they forgot some items we ordered. While this can be a bit frustrating, the staff is quick to rectify any mistakes once pointed out.

Food: The food at Aikan Sushi can be a bit hit or miss, depending on the day and time of your visit. On good days, the sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety is impressive, with a wide range of rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes to choose from. Some of my favorites include the spicy tuna roll, salmon sashimi, and the tempura shrimp roll. The quality of the food for the price is generally excellent, making it a great value for an all-you-can-eat option.

However, there have been times when the quality wasn’t as consistent. On a few visits, the sushi didn’t taste as fresh, and some dishes were a bit underwhelming. It seems to depend on the time of day and how busy the restaurant is. Despite these occasional inconsistencies, I still find myself coming back because when they get it right, it’s really good.

Ambiance: The ambiance at Aikan Sushi is pleasant and inviting. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and has a cozy atmosphere. It’s a great place for a casual meal with friends or family. The decor is simple yet tasteful, and the seating is comfortable. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the experience is enjoyable.

Value: One of the standout features of Aikan Sushi is the value for money. The all-you-can-eat option is reasonably priced, especially considering the variety and quality of the food. It’s a fantastic deal for sushi lovers who want to try a bit of everything without breaking the bank. Even with the occasional hiccups in service and food quality, the overall experience is worth it.
