If you don’t like raw sushi, I highly recommend the 405 sushi roll—it’s amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Hands down, the best sushi I can confidently recommend. 🍣

Pricey and the sushi rolls take very long because of how busy they are. The restaurant seems to skimp out on a whole roll because it's ayce. Some say it's value, but I would be willing to pay more for more food and actually feeling full when I leave. They are very strict on the 2 hour mark, which feels like should be a long time, but they take so long for the rolls that it really isn't. Overall meh

Everything is always at its best, with the highest quality and freshness! I used to go to Hikari, but since I injured my gum on a salmon bone left in the sushi, I haven't been going there. Since I discovered this gem, it's my first-to-go sushi place. Staff are very attentive and friendly. I love this place!

Good AYCE. Decent quality, ok rice to protein ratio, but for the price it is hard to complain.
Portions are small, which is great when you’re trying different things.
We like the shishito peppers, poke sushi, and yellowtail a lot. Their rolls with avocado are always good too.
Service can be slow so make sure you order plenty on each round.

We sat down at 8:17 PM at Aikan Sushi Northridge (9034 Tama Ave, Northridge, CA 91324) and didn’t leave until 10:09 PM—and that’s with a party of two. The sushi was great, as always, which makes this even more infuriating, because after tonight we will never be coming back.
Our waiter basically forgot we existed three different times. First, we had to chase him down just to place our first order—after he ignored us while we tried to order. Then he never brought the paper for our next round, leaving us just sitting there waiting. And when we were finally done and asked for the check, he STILL never came back. Our cards weren’t even picked up until we went to the hosts ourselves. Completely unacceptable.

I recently visited my favorite sushi spot, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival with my friend, we were informed of a 20-minute wait and provided our contact number. Shortly after, another couple arrived. While waiting outside, we observed a staff member offering a heater to a nearby couple while seemingly overlooking and not asking us.
Despite having arrived earlier, the other couple was seated before us. When we inquired, we were told that our name wasn't on the list, which was humiliating since there were people behind us in line and the host kept asking if we were sure that we put a number down. Eventually, the staff confirmed our earlier check-in and seated us. I understand mistakes can happen but as a person you should own up to it.
Once seated, the service was horrible . Our food was placed on the table without care, and our waiter was inattentive, unlike the service provided to other tables. Us as customers had to be the ones to ask for a refill. Waiter only came to our table once which was to only order our food , other than that they never came back.Despite enjoying the food in the past, the poor customer service made us feel unwelcome, especially as the only Hispanics present. As a result, I don't plan to return.

I had a great experience here with surprisingly quick and attentive service. Our waiter was fast, efficient, and really on top of everything we needed without us having to ask. All of our sushi orders came out much quicker than expected, and the rest of the staff did a great job clearing the table and keeping everything tidy throughout the meal.
The sushi itself was fresh and tasty. A few of the fish cuts were on the smaller side, but the flavor and overall quality still made the meal enjoyable. Overall, it was a really solid dining experience, and I’d definitely come back again.

This is our family’s favorite place, and our friends love it too. We’ve been to many all-you-can-eat BBQ spots, and this one is truly the best in LA for both price and quality. The service is fast, and the food is so, so, so delicious. We always leave with our stomachs so full we can barely breathe 😹.
