Great sushi, great service, and you don't have to wait to be seated too long average 25 to 35 min on a sat 1pm, their sushi selection is great and the service is on point kind and attentive.

I celebrated my birthday here at Aikan with my family. We came around 530pm and had to wait to be seated, but when I explained our seating situation, the host, Natalie, was very accommodating to us as we had a child with a stroller and a family member who was using a wheelchair. This place got packed and we were seated up front near the entrance but also out of the way as to not bother anyone. It was perfect. Once we were seated, she was also kind enough to take the time to explain the menu and how to order. Our waiter, Tu, was also very helpful and considerate towards our family. Other staff came quite frequently to make sure to pick up any empty plates also. The food portions were a lot so if it's your first time, I advise to make your first round light so you can decide if you'll be able to eat more or not. We chose the premium menu and recommend the soft shell crab, squid legs and most of all, the oysters. We all agreed and thought the oysters were the most fresh we've had of all the sushi restaurants we've gone to. Even our drinks felt crisp and delicious. Highly recommend this spot for AYCE sushi! Small bonus is that it's right around the corner from the new Porto's location!

We walked out. Confused why the three(3) women greeters at the door last night just stared at us upon entry, did not speak, and barely responded to us asking for menus for take out by handing us one. Greeters are supposed to have tongues, right????? ... It's a no for me.PLUS ... The parking lot was adorned with Tesla refueling stations, I mean like 20-30 annoyingly taking up parking.Parking: It's a no for meKid-friendliness: It's a no for meWheelchair accessibility: It's a no for me

Ordered some kind of cali roll, tasted awful (was just crab covered in seaweed and rice) then I continued to rush to the restroom to vomit (went home and continued to show food poisoning symptoms) They brought me water and the bill. Didn't even bother to ask if I was okay or comp the roll that made me sick. Bad service, my waiter had to be new in which case I'm sorry. Ralph's sushi never made me sick I'd recommend that over this.

For AYCE, this is a really good deal. We ordered mostly sushi as well as some appetizers. Our server Grace was awesome. Food came out fast and quality of food was superb. My favorites were the salmon, yuzu salmon, and the dynamite appetizer. I wish the salmon skin roll was crispier.Overall it was a great experience. Would recommend. Dined in with a party of 3 on a Saturday night. Have to go in person to get on the waitlist but our wait time was only about 1 hour.

This is the best all you can eat sushi spot in the valley period...unless you're a kid and like it when restaurants announce someone's birthday and the lights go out and edm music and disco lights turns on, where they proceed to embarrass you while u eat. If that's what you like then you can go to hikari sushi. But if you're an adult, then come here. Appetizers of all kinds available like salmon or yellowtail collar but this is the only place with all you can eat adegashi tofu and crispy squid legs. Sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and rice less rolls all here. Premium choices like raw oysters, sweet shrimp, uni, and toro for jus 5 more dollars. I wish they had more variety of fish available for the sashimi like escolar, mackerel, or amberjack. The service is the best thing about this place. Water refills are prompt, our waitress was amazing, staff is super accommodating to the fact I brought a 3 month old baby. Everyone appeas to work as a team, especially the guy in the fresh suit is out on the floor running plates, sweeping, etc. Rice less sushi plates look beautiful, but the sashimi plates look a lil rushed. Despite that I still say it is the best all you can eat sushi place in the valley, which is a lot to say cuz there are literally 1000s of sushi restaurants in the valley.Vegetarian options: Tempura veggies, tofu, salads, avocado rolls, seaweed salad, edamame, shishito peppers, miso soupDietary restrictions: Accommodating, menu shows what's whatKid-friendliness: I brought a 3 month old baby..no problemWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair elevator jus out front

Nice, airy, well kept place. Surprisingly the sushi bar was open with chairs decently spaced. We took a table anyway. It's nicely appointed. Service was okay. To be fair it was afternoon, and they may have had a busy lunchtime. They have a good number of workers on the line, and the food came out quickly. The food was very good. We had a lot of nigiri, and a couple of classic salmon skin rolls. The salmon, yuzu salmon, hamachi were outstanding. Even though the salmon didn't have the fat stripes it was wonderfully tender. The masago (smelt eggs) were excellent. The unagi and scallops were good. The salmon skin in the rolls was done well, and we had repeats on that one. However, there wasn't a handroll option on the menu. We like the way that a properly done handroll has crispy nori wrapping it. The rice was a bit on the dry side, but was a good ratio of fish to rice. We would certainly come back again. Happily it's not far from CSU Northridge campus where we occasionally visit.

We go 1 or 2 times a month. One of the best places to dine for ayce sushi. This restaurant is very busy ensuring that the fish isn't just sitting around. Rolls and slice fish are unique and nicely displayed. The broiled mussels are so good and actually hot when served. Not everyone in your party has to do ayce. Their bento boxes are huge and every space is filled with a food item. Happy hour is awsome a pitcher of Sapporo is only 7 bucks. Lots of items to choose from for happy hour. 3 to 5pm m-f and 830 till close.Kid-friendliness: Nice place to introduce kids to Japanese style food.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp elevator that you can. Use to get to the restaurant.

food is ok- too much sugar and preservatives on the fish - not real sushi /sashimi, rolls are full of filler ingredients.Only the premium sushi is good but you have to pay extra on top of paying extra.people are very nice tho. good service.
