My friend ordered from American BBQ — and it was a complete disappointment. The food was not tasty at all, and to make things worse, they refused to give the order to the first courier just because she was holding her small puppy in her arms. That’s totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Definitely not a place we’d ever recommend or return to! 😡

I came to pick up a delivery order today, but the staff refused to give me the food because I had my small puppy with me. I work for a delivery service, and my puppy is very young — I can’t leave him alone at home or in the car. He was in my arms the entire time and never came close to any food preparation area.
All delivery orders are always fully sealed — the boxes are closed, then placed in bags that are tied or sealed with stickers, specifically to prevent any contamination. Nothing can get inside those bags once they’re sealed.
I believe the employee’s reaction was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially since no other restaurant has ever refused to hand me a sealed order in the past two months. My puppy is hypoallergenic and fully vaccinated according to all health requirements.
I understand food safety rules, but this situation was handled without empathy or common sense. Very disappointing experience.
I would never recommend this place to anyone — and I will never come back here, neither as a customer nor as a delivery driver.

I ordered this through DoorDash first issue is if you want more sales, you should probably think about actually joining DoorDash and not make people that live not that far from you pay so Much extra with service and deliveries fees. Now getting to the food don’t be cheap..I ordered a pulled pork sandwich & they shouldn’t charge extra for a small barbecue sauce on the side. I decided to get mine on the side so that the sandwich wouldn’t be soggy, but the cup is so little that It basically was barely enough for a third of the sandwich. My daughter had a tri-tip and she said it was pretty good, but the sides were very lackluster and unfortunately, I have to agree. The mac & cheese was decent, but the baked beans needed to be cooked a little bit more and they don’t have enough flavor maybe think about adding some barbecue sauce or some other seasonings? Especially since it’s vegetarian you’re losing out on the pork flavoring.

Amazing barbecue. Wonderful staff, wonderful cuisine, and wonderful surroundings all combined to create an incredible destination in the valley area. Highly recommended. I will surely return to this great eatery. The cuisine is quite good. Thank you for offering this service. The staff is very pleasant. We will definitely return to eat the full rack ribs and Peach Cobbler, and their burger is one-of-a-kind. Thank you again for such excellent meal and service. Everyone was content to sit and enjoy the food and music. Highly recommended.

I’m a BBQ professional. The food didn’t taste smoked. Tri tip was enjoyable. The wings tasted either fried earlier or fried beyond oblivion. Beef ribs tasted old and I couldn’t detect any wood smoke. I won’t be returning. I spend around $165 and my family was not impressed

If you want melt in your mouth BBQ, this is the place to go. Best tri tip ever and everything was homemade. And the guy was friendly and made us feel at home. Very pleased
These were the most awful ribs I’ve ever had in my life. They hardly have any meat on them and they were extremely tough and chewy. The fact that you guys don’t remove the membrane from the bottom part of the ribs is proof alone that you guys don’t know your bbq. $50 for half a rack and two small sides? This is such a rip off and reason enough for me to leave a negative review about you guys because you deserve it.
