I just walked out. I can't remember the last time I've gone into a business and had to leave. The lady behind the counter had zero customers and was chatting with a guy and texting at the same time. I stood there for about 3 or 4 minutes and was completely ignored even though I was 4 feet from her face. She's gonna drive that business out of business.

Chicken bowl is small, not worth the price. The "steak" tostada isn't even steak, I'm not sure if it's beef shank.. the steak looks old and tasted rancid . I couldn't even eat it. Only eating the veggies, hope I don't get sick eating this on my lunch break. Paying $20 for old food is unbelievable.

I used to work in the food and beverage industry. So, it pains me to say this. But It must be said because the owners can't possibly care about this rat trap. To begin with, this is the saddest place on earth. You walk in and its the same two people as always, a lady that always looks confused and overwhelmed and a cook that looks like an angry old mechanic and dresses like it. No smiles just purposeful frowns and looks of real dejection. They literally hate their jobs and the restaurant and they make it painfully obvious. They don't even attempt to hide it. I had to create a reason to leave once I noticed the filthy mortuary style atmosphere and dashed across the street to Chipotle. Now I'm not saying they have to be happy or even smile although they should, but dam at least don't make us feel as if we're the problem simply for coming in and ordering. They way they slow shuffled around the restaurant allowed me time to see how dirty this place really was and it was only noon. There was literally no one else in there and its always empty like that.....more like high noon. They cant be making any money. They have to be breaking even financially and it shows from the staffs lack of cleanliness to the lack of enthusiasm and the lackluster customer service. Maybe staying afloat off Uber eats or sumn....The only way I can tell they are alive is because they are moving. From the front counter and under the prepping counter food, chips on the floor and all along the prep counter on the floor, leading to the back kitchen; it was literally feasting area for rats, mice and any other vermin looking for something edible right on their feet. Wow just gross and plain nasty. They look disheveled and their uniforms needed to be cleaned. The cook looks like he should be working on cars based on how dirty he was. The owner should be ashamed, they obviously really don't care. They are there for the check and based on the nasty attitude's, they care less about their jobs too. I might still go to Baja Fresh in Woodland hills on Ventura. But never again will I set foot in that particular mausoleum. If you do go, look and you'll see everything I just described in full view. If you're ordering from here good luck!!

I been eating Baja Fresh for many years and I know how it’s supposed to taste. This location is horrible and not professional at all. Their not following the recipe either ….Rice was soggy, the green salsa I normally get was watered down and flavor was completely different. The staff was not professional either. One of the employees went next door and got a case of modelo beer and brought it back in the the store and went back In kitchen with it. They had a drunk customer and obviously one of the staff’s friend in their singing and the cook and the other two were smiling and giving handshakes to him.. This location should be closed down and all three employees fired ! Obviously different management here thar doesn’t care about the integrity of Baja Fresh or take it seriously at all!! They are making the Baja Fresh Brand look bad. I threw my food away, couldn’t finish it. Chicken was shredded, not grilled too…I will never go to this location again….. Also the food was cold ……

We had a problem but when we told Karina, the manager, she resolved the issue and made us very happy. More restaurants need knowledgable and pleasant employees as Karina. We will definitely return to this location.

When the female cooker is in expect your order to be different. Less cheese, less of everything and to request one of your items to be changed since they give you what you didn't ask for. (example :type of tortillas, beans)
