Went on a Thursday night. They were not busy. We were sat at a table by the bar, the table had bread crumbs on it and needed a wipe up. I asked the host to have someone to wipe the table she said she'll have somebody come over. We waited for about 5 minutes, then our server came by and asked again for the table to be wiped down. She said she'll get someone but can she take our drink order. Didn't feel like she was the most friendly person kind of annoyed that I asked for the table to be cleaned. We ordered our food. My wife asked for her steak medium well It was over cooked. Mine was fine. The server never came to check to see if we needed anything. When she did was just to drop off the check. I used to love Black Angus, but don't think I will go back to the Northridge location for sure. They are now very expensive. 3 people no cocktails over $ 130.

Either today was a fluke, or the quality just keeps going down. All 4 of our steaks were overcooked, very disappointing. Why even ask us how we want it cooked? You say send it back to the kitchen? No way, good luck, we all know what happens (not specifically saying this Black Angus, just in general). Server was nice though.

This was a little disappointing. The steaks that we ordered were very underwhelming. The desserts were delicious. But the most pleasant thing about this place was the service we received from our server. She was amazing! The hostess was a little rude.

Black Angus is a really good restaurant—it’s one of my favorites, almost like my second kitchen, haha! I would definitely give Black Angus 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, and another 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the server. The food and desserts are delicious, but my favorite is the salmon with wild rice and asparagus—so yummy! Everyone there is so kind and very nice. My favorite server is Melissa. Highly recommended!

My go-to place for Prime Rib in the neighborhood! Try their potato chips! Comes with two dips: buffalo sauce and ranch. The potato chips are freshly fried. Goes so well with the 2 dips. Also, they have this seasonal pumpkin cheesecake! If you like pumpkin pie and you like cheesecake, you get the best of both worlds in one dessert! :D Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of parking in the free parking lot around the restaurant.

Our most recent experience was terrible. This is has been an occasional go-to place for a few years since food is good and reasonable and atmosphere is fun. Last Sunday night was a mess. Waitress did not come to the table for at least 15 minutes after we're seated. No one came to bring water or bread. Our drink order took another 15 or so min. and white wine came instead of red (cabernet) . Still no water or bread we asked for. The food also took forever and the waitress never came back, and it was also wrong. Waited for the check a long time too and they were not busy in the restaurant. The table behind us, seated before we were, NEVER got their food so the manager comped their salads and they left. Meanwhile between 3 & 5 staff were congregating at the hostess desk the whole time and did nothing or went into the bar and were joking around. Really gone bad.

We used to eat at Black Angus frequently when we lived in the neighborhood. Dining there last night before an event at the Soraya, we remembered why. The food is SO TASTY! We shared the steak and lobster trio (SUCH a deal!) and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The wedge salad is better than ones you will get at a fancy steak house. And the molasses bread served warm with the soft butter is the best comfort food. And we always love the Happy Hour Martini and Margarita: Martini is super cold and the blue cheese olives are tasty. The only problem last night was the salad coming out with the entree. Other than that - a great meal at an unbeatable price! Can't wait to have an excuse to dine in again.

The management and staff (Rebecca, Waitress) completed an excellent experience for my 19 guests and myself at the Black Angus Restaurant in Northridge on Monday, September 22, 2025. I personally thanked everyone for this wonderful experience. God Bless Them! 👍🤠🤗
