Brett's deli is great...the double baked rye is crusty,,,the meats are great. When I'm in the SF valley I eat here...when over the canyon I eat at Canters...which is iconc...no one beats their food or bakery.

I looked for a deli that was good and would deliver to a Shiva house .I'm in the east coast and this was a worry for me .
Well I must say I made the right choice.
Brent's deli was amazing great customer service over the phone they promised it will be good and will be delivered to Shiva house on time .
I highly recommend this deli .They sure delivery what they promised.
Thank you so much for helping me in this very difficult time .

It was first time at Brent’s and it won’t be my last! Excellent service, and I’ve never experienced that kind of speed of service before in any dining experience before! Our food came within a few minutes after ordering, and the sandwiches were delicious!

Black Ruben with onion rings is 🔥. Best pastrami I had in south Cali. Chili was not good , don't recommend it. The carrot cake was delicious

The Matzo Ball soup broth has no flavor..like hot water with noodles and a matzo ball...so sad that they would keep serving it when so many people have told the servers that the soup is not good anymore...maybe they should put a chicken in the broth when they make it....

The location in Northridge is just not the greatest neighborhood anymore. Food was delicious quick and hot.

I recently went to Landers after 30 years it's a treat. It's quite expensive but I met someone and he mentioned this place. Brent's unbelievable. This is the slice of New York and the valley. The food was unbelievable. The services are phenomenal. Please tip these people. They give you some of the best service I've had and the kitchen staff. If you can't affor
d it, tip them as well. The food is off the chain here and you're getting a chef opinion from New Orleans and I love to you. This is a spot you can have it all food wise kosher style. I'll add photos. I ate the first ones LOL

First of all, it did not live up to the hype that these foodie reviewers raved about on social media and surely was a bit overpriced of $24. Imagine you are screwed even more when you tip as well! It appears if youre a foodie thats going to review their food, they most likely make the food with bigger portions for the vid camera hype.. Ive had pastrami plates in Los Angeles for way less and tasted better along with bigger portions. Brent's pastrami plate tasted mid with small portion bread as well. The meat was mid and was a ok sized portion. Coleslaw and pickles were good. The dip was a bit salty and thick fries tasted a bit warm but stale as if it was under a heat lamp too long.

Let’s talk pastrami! I’m a huge fan of pastrami sandwiches, so it’s kinda surprising it took me this long to go to Brent’s. They are renowned for good pastrami. That renown is not misplaced. This was, perhaps, the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had, and let me tell you, that’s a pretty high bar. With the generous sides, I was only able to eat half the sandwich, even though my taste buds were crying out for more. It made for a great next-day lunch.

We went mid afternoon on a Saturday, which may have been near peak time. Even so, the wait was only 10-15 minutes. As soon as we were seated we were presented with a plate of dill pickles - garlic dills and fresh-pack dills. Both were excellent, and this was the give-away appetizer! The servers were friendly and efficient and the food came in a timely manner.

In addition to the restaurant, Brent’s has a full service deli counter with a fine selection.

I’ll definitely be back!
