Have had food from here many times over a few years and it's almost alwas very good. Tonight I called in a take out order and asked if they had the baked lobster roll. I was told they did and so I ordered it. When I picked the order up I opened the bag to check the order. On the one that was supposed to be the "lobster" roll was crawfish. I was told, "That's what we call it." Wow! Makes you wonder what else they just changed the name on. I think this is illegal.

Terrible customer service, employees are not trained to serve the customer they are trained to rush the customer. Rush the customer to place the order. If you dine in they hesitate to bring you soup even after the 4th time you ask they said they are not sure if we are getting soup because the cook is to busy in the back to pour a bowl of soup maybe they should hire new people starting with their cook and then moving on to their servers, then on our way out my girlfriends and I ask for a box to go and they ignored us then once I asked a second time they looked at me and rolled their eyes and I stood there as she says what else I said some sauce please she huffed and got me some practically throwing it at me. Hey I've been coming here with family and friends for 12 years maybe it's time to stop coming here since service has dramatically declined.

We decided to try this spot for lunch today after originally grabbing coffee from a few doors down. Went here first to place our order and then walk to get coffee and hope the food would be ready by then. Their menu is loud! There is so much going on that I was having a pretty difficult time deciding on what I wanted. It's nice that they have photos of everything but I guess it also made it harder for whatever reason. I decided to get something simple and order an avocado roll and tuna roll thinking that they'd be small enough and overall be enough for a small meal. We ordered some gyoza and chicken Katsu as well. Placed our order and the lady said it would take 15 min, so we walked over to the coffee place around the corner since that would give us enough time. We come back and our food is almost ready in about 10 min! Super quick. Waited like 2 more min, got our food, and went on home. The food portions are huge! Did not expect the rolls to be this big but I am very happy they came with a slice of lemon! I love adding lemon or lime to a lot of the food I eat so this made me very happy. Completely forgot to ask for extra ginger and ofc, it wasn't enough for me. They didn't give much especially for such huge rolls. Most rolls don't break apart very easily but to my surprise, these ones did! It was hard to pick up because the rice was super sticky but also fell apart super easily. Not really a big deal since they tasted delicious overall and the gyoza and whatever sauce they had for it tasted great! Perfectly crisp. Unfortunately the Katsu was probably fried too long because it was a bit tough and dry. Overall, this is a great little spot and wouldn't mind coming back if we're ever in the area. The ladies working there were also very nice and complimented my purse. IG: @ammysalamii

Fresh and very accommodating! They're really personable and are willing to adjust things to your liking whenever possible.

Thank you so much for taking the time to punch holes on the box for Tempura to go orders! Great place! I really appreciate that they punch holes on the box for tempura orders so the food remains crispy, not soggy.

The Lobster baed roll is delicious! Tbh better than some higher end restaurants where you pay more. I always order to go as the place is small not comfortable for sitting. It gets busy so if you're ordering to go just order on the phone

Great service, great food. I hit this place on my way home at least once a week. Always call ahead and the food is waiting to be picked up. Great customer service and like I said great food. Thank you guys for doing such an awesome job even thru these hard times.

Always great food and service. It can be hard to find a spot in the valley with fresh fish so this place does not disappoint. Good prices too. Location on Reseda very good too.

Maybe it's me.. Maybe I don't understand Japanese restaurants but when my wife and i were served a couple bowls of bland tasting Meso soup followed by a single plate with giant pieces of sushi and nothing but chop sticks or flimsy plastic forks to divide them into bite-sized pieces, or an extra plate for each of us to eat to eat them on, so I asked our waitress. She brought us 2 small plates but she said they didn't have knives. How can you run a restaurant with as huge a menu as they have and not have any knives!

their tempura batter is as hard as cardboard . and the shrimp tastes like it's been frozen for a long time . it feels like you're eating rubber . never again will I order anything from this place .

Mango salad is delicious! Really like the bowls and how they're fresh and include vegetables. Service is very predictable

Customer service is horrible and the wait times are ridiculous. If they tell you 15 mins you will be waiting at least an hour.

This spot is good if you want quick to go sushi or just a quick eat in general. The sushi is average, nothing to rave about. The spice level of the spicy tuna is always changing, but is definitely on the spicier side most of the time. Prices are a little too high for an average spot. But if you order their sushi platters, they seem to be the most affordable in the valley. Do not order the edamame. They are extremely soggy and crumble in your mouth (seems like they are microwaved or boiled for way too long). Parking spots are easy to find.

Great food for the price. Tried a different spot last week & paid way more for way less. I've been coming here for years now & its always been consistently good. I didn't have to pay extra for eel sauce, ginger or chop sticks either. The place last week wanted extra for everything! I'll keep coming back here for a very long time!

I usually go to the location near cal state Northridge. But frustratingly they are still not open for dine in. And I wanted a bento box so I opted to drive the 5 minutes to come out to this location. There's construction right now on the building but they are still open. I go inside and order and am not really paying attention too much. Then I notice many of the tables have large amounts of empty food plates on them. The two girl employees are taking orders but have some down time they could be bussing the tables. Then I actually look around. At least 5 customers are standing around holding their receipts looking at the kitchen. I started to get nervous my food would take a long time as apparently things we're taking a long time to be made and wait times were up there. Thankfully I got my food after only 10-15 minutes. But I felt bad as many people who were in the restaurant before me were still waiting after I was eating. I counted at least 3 customers walked up and asked why it was taking so long and when their food would be ready. If I hadn't received my food so fast my review would be lower. But I hope whatever is going on they solve it cause I don't know why it was taking 20 minutes for a sushi roll to come out. Nothing has to even be cooked lol.
