CCC recently changed their green and red salsa recipe and I’ve got to say it is super delicious. The previous recipe was okay, but this new recipe is so good I had to write a review. I always order from them for the food,but this salsa is very very good. The salsas are now Roasted. Keep it up.

After pandemic they don’t offer dine in which it’s not a problem for me it was always very loud inside…since they still offer the same tasty warps :) very tasty & healthy chicken warps with wheat pita bread, ( white bread is available too) order online or in person at the main door ( Food is great, everything is good. Except it's too load here, they should put some isolation or sound proofing at the ceiling, so you can eat in peace, outside sitting is helpful, the chicken salad is delicious. . )
I have been coming to this location for about 10-12 years and have never been disappointed, except for my most recent visit on June 3, 2024. California Chicken Cafe usually offers great food. This visit, I ordered the 8-piece dark meat special, Cafe Caesar Salad, and a Medium Seasonal Fruit Salad. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, juicy, and falling off the bone as usual. The salad was also good; I added extra corn, extra white cheddar cheese, and extra Caesar dressing, making it fresh and tasty.
However, the disappointment came with the Fruit Salad. Almost every grape was squashed and looked old, and there were more grapes than any other fruit. The grapes were so soft they made me feel ill eating one—they were like mush. The cantaloupe was good, the strawberries were good, and the pineapples were okay, though slightly brown. I usually save the fruit salad for last because I love the different rich flavors, but this time, there was no enjoyment, just disappointment, and I ended up throwing half of it away. Overall, I give this experience two stars. It is unacceptable for a kitchen manager or quality control person to let such a poor fruit salad leave the establishment and make it to someone's home. Extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately, the manager Karen does not have her store in order. We ordered a quarter chicken dark through DoorDash and after a long wait last minute the driver said that they can only offer me white meat. Why would they sell a quarter chicken DARK IF THEY DON’T HAVE THAT MEAT. VERY UPSETTING WE NEEDED TO CANCEL THE ORDER AND GO TO BED HUNGRY POOR POOR SERVICE, KAREN.

Love this location! Only CCC that has in door seating so you can eat your food there. Food always great! FRIENDLY staff! Shame eat CCC less since COVID all other locations went to take out. We go to Chatsworth consistently now. Woodland Hills at least outside seating too when weather ials warmer or dry ?
