Do not go here!! Very disappointed! The food was not that great! I ordered the two menu item and they gave me like half a scoop of orange chicken and one egg roll. These were my two items. Most places give you two egg rolls when it's a two item menu meal! I asked about it and the lady working there was very rude!! The best local Chinese food that will give you fresh quality food with a good portion is Wok Wong's Chinese food on Tampa and Saticoy. You will not be disappointed!

Just asked the lady if they were coming out with a fresh spicy orange chicken ignored me served me and immediately grabbed a fresh one. Honestly garbage costumer service. If you dont like your job quit. ESPECIALLY IF YOU WORK WITH FOOD!

In all the years this has been my favorite spot to eat and today i was treated as if i was going to steal from them and discriminated against as i was singled out in front of anyone. Let me add that the food is delicious and always fresh but their behavior was disgusting. Why take my order and then make me pay first, while everyone in front and behind me in line their food is being served right there. I did question since when was an order placed first to be paid then me wait for my food to be put into the containers. The lady didn't know how to respond other than "always" yet it was observed that it wasn't. I also noticed that it wasn't a friendly place anymore. My family and I will not return to this food establishment to be treated possibly worse next time and don't want to take that chance. Just so everyone is aware, i was wearing a little mermaid shirt because i was watching my 3 year old niece and she loves the Ariel the mermaid, i was with both of my elderly parents so not sure why we were treated indifferent.

Before I talk about "food", "service" and " ambiance" I would like to finally point out something that truly bothered me for a long time about the restaurant/food business. They certainly slaughtered and killed the true meaning of the word GOURMET! I believe those business owners actually never had the pleasure of tasting gourmet food. Now, let me get to this " lovely" Gourmet place. Yeah, in a mall, in a food court. That is exactly where I expect a gourmet eatery. My spouse and I were hungry and decided to get some food there. I ordered a 2 item combo, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and chow mein. My spouse, being vegan, ended up with chow mein and a few spring rolls. I, as always when I go to Asian restaurants ask for extra sauces. So did I at this place. Especially they seem to be quite stingy with the teriyaki sauce over my chicken. So I asked for extra teriyaki sauce and sweet and sour sauce. Just to point out this combo is my favourite. So, I am very familiar with how teriyaki sauce looks, and tastes. I eat it quite often. After we found a table to sit down and started to eat, my spouse had to go back because they forgot to add the sauces he had asked for. And then when we finally were able to start eating, the chow mein was already cold on the bottom. The meat was lukewarm. And then- I just could not believe this. I looked at this supposedly teriyaki sauce. It was watery and almost transparent and didn't even smell like teriyaki sauce. So I figured they gave me the wrong sauce. I went back and asked for some more. They gave me the same. Since they were quite busy, they had no time for me to even talk to me. And I was hungry and actually fed up. So I just went ahead and ate my GOURMET food. LOL I mean just the audacity to call their business Gourmet. Oh, well.

Ive been coming to this place since ive been a kid.It really bothers me just how much this place has changed for the worst.Their food is mediocre at best and service is alright but whenever they leave a gap in my food i try to ask for more and they act like they are going to run out or its foreign to them.I like chinese places with hearty portions and this isnt the place for that.Plus 12 dollars for a 2 item plate thats smaller than panda no thanks.

Ruined my appetite for the rest of the night after seeing this insect in my food. Clearly they do not thoroughly wash their produce.

I stopped by Chinese Gourmet Express because I wanted a quick snack while waiting for my wife to get off work to have dinner. I was looking for something cheap but also good that was inside the mall. I walked pass this place and saw that they have egg rolls. The price was decent for 2 so I went and got that. The prices here for a dish is pretty reasonable but I'm not sure about the quality of the food. I thought my egg rolls were okay and I thought the sweet & sour sauce would help it out but it did not. I saw a sign when I was paying that you do not get free refills here on your drink so that's disappointing. This isn't an amusement park but a food place in the mall food court.Parking: This place has a lot of parking spots because it's inside the mall.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly because you have the mall food court to dine around.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of spaces to move around.

The food is good but the portion is low. The service is fast and they are helpful. But drinks have no refill.

Orange chicken is way too sweet and not hardly no meat and outside is mushy. The chow mein is weird orange color and taste just ok . Lady says no white rice. She forced me to take a plastic bag even though I'm eating here. Not Earth-friendly . My raspberry tea is watery and no refills . Lady not very friendly but very efficient.

Food was good after a couple of visits from work at Curacao at the mall. After, it gives you stomach aches most of the time. Orange chicken is good but it’s too chewy and way to sweet. It’s also very expensive. Worker discount isn’t that much.

I have had the pleasure of ordering from this establishment numerous times over the years and have always found it to be consistently flavorful, succulent, and satisfying. For the main course, I would recommend the Jalapeño Chicken with Jalapeño Beef and a side of white rice. The service is satisfactory, The staff is super friendly and always greets you with a smile. The outdoor area is situated on a balcony, providing a pleasant atmosphere.
