This is a great bakery. It would have been nice to know it was closed for remodel before we drove 30 minutes to location.

If I could leave 6 stars, I would! Delicious Bakery has been our cake go-to for years, with each one being just as delicious as the next, so when we got married...there was no question who would bake our cake! Only it wasn't just a cake, they thrilled us with dozens of the most beautiful cupcakes (my fave), each frosted with a gorgeous, buttercream white rose. There were several kinds of cupcakes under the beautiful frosting -- white cake, yellow cake, chocolate, marble and red velvet -- and a multi-layer topper. Everything was beautifully packed for transport, and Delicious Bakery's amazing work was one of the best parts of our day. Thank you thank you!!

Amazing pastries, fresh bread, and overall an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and I’m very helpful.

I moved a few years ago and when visiting friends I stopped by to get the white and rye bread. They didn't have rye. But the white bread was on a shelf that said $3.00 alongside of some danish in a bag. I assumed they were $3.00 each bag! Boy I was wrong!!! The danish bag was &9.00 and the loaf of bread was $4 ish I bought the bread cause my family loved it! I asked to have it thick sliced . She said they only do thin!!! Okay fine! The next morning I was gonna make sandwiches and French toast. Oh boy did the bread change! It was dense and dry! I called my friend and said did they change Owners? She had no clue! She called me back and said yes they did! I said oh that's why it looks so different.... It's unfortunate that things changed! We used to buy birthday cakes for the kids there! They had always made beautiful custom cakes! Oh, I asked if the horn danish was the almond one. She said yes! It was pure chocolate, dry and no almond flavor! I was so disappointed...

New owners have brought this once excellent bakery way down. Quality and availability of once truly delicious baked goods are one star at best. Customer service is basically non-existent. We are officially changing our patronage to Bea's (10 minutes further) unless someone bails this place out. Doubtful this bakery will survive much longer-what a shame.

Delicious is DELICIOUS!!!!!!! everyone loved the cake! however, unfortunately, in every photo, it is crooked, it stands leaning over to the side!!!!!!!!!!, and the service was quite confusing at times as the friendliness was missing often

The new owners have changed up the recipes and the danishes are terrible now. Eidleweiss is tasteless and it used to be the best anywhere. Bear claws are a new recipe and they are dry. I ordered the chocolate chip ring which is the only thing that seems to have stayed the same and when i went to pick it up, it looked like a lumpy loaf of bread- no longer a ring. Not something i could take to a gathering. I specifically asked if they were making the same ring and was told yes over the phone. The new owners should be shamed. The taste is gone and their customer service is non-existent. I have noticed the bakery is empty most of the time. I used to have to line up to get in the door.

I have been going to Delicious for years. They have great rye. As you walk in check out the day old to save a bit. I have tried multiple breads and seem to enjoy them all.

Disgusting Bakery. Bakery sold us a spoiled/rancid cake. No apology. Never responded to my email or phone call. Will never return. Please be cautious. LA Health Department has been notified.

Something must have changed during Covid. I just visited my favorite bakery, bought a pound of cookies. They are NOT the same. They look the same, but the butter flavor is gone. Prices have gone up, expectedly, but quality has gone way down. New staff is no longer friendly as before and my favorite cake of all time, mocha cake, is no longer made even as a special order. I know Porto's moving into Northridge must have had an impact, but lowering quality is never the answer. Sorry, I won't be back.

The very best bakery goods, great prices, coffee is so so. But the LACK OF FRIENDLINESS or even recognizing regulars is so off putting. Any business that doesn't recognize customers come back because of good and friendly service in addition to the quality of goods will lose business.

Thr service is fine just fine. The baked goods are bad. The interior of the store has bugs and I've seen what looked like moldy bread. New owners are not making the place any better. Time to find another option for my baked goods!

How sad, when I lived in Northridge this place was a long time go to. I stopped by today when visiting the area and had bad vibes aft as er looking around. I asked if there was a change in ownership and told there was. Purchased a Ry bread that did not look as appetizing as I remember them to be. Additionally a pastry that was a staple in the past. It saddens me to say that I will not be going back. The quality is far from what I remember, so I must accept that What WAS IS NO MORE.
