My son and I had a very busy by the time we arrive to Felafel Palace we were pretty starving because I specifically being a foodie wanted to give this place a shot and stubborn I didn't want to stop anywhere else - so to the point.

The lamb in the gyros was not succulent at all - it was very dried and it did not come with sliced red onions and no feta. The Greek Salad must had been washed before it was served to us because there was a lot of water at the bottom of the bowl - no Greek dressing served with it; we were given a spicy sauce, and a horrible squeeze bottle of tzatziki that had no flavor - it had no cucumber, full fat Greek yogurt, garlic cloves - finely minced, extra virgin olive oil, white vinegar, salt, no minced fresh dill. The most descent thing was the I paid garlic sauce - and you can't go wrong with french fries and garlic sauce (that was an additional $5.00+) on top of the $61.76

I have a demanding palate and did not find this place to be up to par. I know authentic Greek like I know authentic Mediterranean and Middle East Food. Maybe the early shift may be better I don't know, but I will not be stopping here again. Customer service: they were just doing their job - Maybe staff was possibly tired.

The first time I went to Falafel Palace was in the mid 80s. It was the first place I ever had falafel. I went a lot with my boyfriend at the time. We loved it. But then I moved away, and I couldn't go back because of the memories after we broke up.

40 years later, they're still there!! I'm back in the area, and went back again.

I ordered a falafel plate, and it was good. That's not hard to get right. Next time, I'm going to try a meat dish.

Hadn't been to FP in at least 15 years - found it just as good as ever. 👍

If I lived nearby, I would be eating here every day!! If you’ve never had falafel before, THIS is the place to try it. It’s one of my favorite foods of all time, but this is only place in LA where I’ll order it because it’s the only place I’ve found that makes it this delicious (even though I live on the other side of the city). I’m finally in the area again after first trying Falafel Palace three years ago, and I’ve remembered it and wanted to return ever since.

So happy to be back! This time, I tried the mezzo plate for dinner last night, then returned for the purple pita falafel sandwich for lunch today. Both are incredible! The eggplant (both the spicy spread and the fried eggplant) and falafel balls with hummus and tahini are stand outs. They make everything from scratch here (so rare) and have a top-quality selection of sides and toppings, and their pita is PERFECT; it’s warm and fluffy and just the right level of chewiness, best I’ve had in years.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Sam and his daughter Gina, who were funny and super kind and sent me off with an assortment of delicious treats including their vegan baklava after learning I’m vegan—such sweet people! I’m so happy they’re here (the establishment is 52 now!), and I see why they’ve been able to make it this long as a favorite in the neighborhood; they are a true gem in this city, worth traveling for and bringing friends to. I hope they’re around for another 52 years to come! Thank you Gina and Sam!

Lovley vegan options brought my own feda cheese. Ultimate falafel burger, frys, and Keen was. Sprinkle the vegan cheese on the fries and the burger. 🥳🎊 Just add in a bit of flair to an already great food.

This is one of the least value driven restaurants ever! Too expensive, less than mediocre food and horrible service with staff with an attitude!

Gave them a second chance, but

See you never again!

Good food - Best falafel in the valley! Great gyros and falafel.

Best falafel anywhere! You can order so it isn't as greasy and more healthy. I haven't been here in a while since the pandemic and inflation reduced my opportunities to eat out. However, I have eaten here for a couple decades or so. I need to stop by again soon. A great vegetarian options place to eat.

Vegetarian options: Best falafel anywhere and have a few other Greek vegetarian options. Many things can be vegan too.
