Had a great time at this restaurant Shawn was great help great service got us all of our food that we needed!!! The beef, Bulgogi and the brisket were absolutely delicious!!!! Shawn brought out the pork chops and they were my favorite dish out of everything!!! Five stars would recommend to anybody!!!

I use to come to gen korean bbq. I use to love coming. But after a while i ended up changing to the one in oxnard…. Since here in northridge gen bbq the food started to dissapoint me. Food that is made they serve super cold. they take forever to serve. Its not the same as how it use to be…. Honestly this is sad knowing that they dont have the same customer service. They need to get better. I started going to the one in oxnard. That one is highly recommended, its great

Here's my experience visiting Gen Korean BBQ for lunch on a Friday: Service: The service was great. Our waitress was very helpful and suggestive with the menu. Food: The food itself was quite good. Value: I found the prices to be pretty high for the experience offered.

We’ve been coming here for at least five years, and the food was always served on time and in good portions, with good service. But the last two times have been absolutely terrible. We had to wait about 20 minutes for just one plate. There were four of us at the table, and we were hungry. We asked the waitress three times to bring our dishes, but she never did. She said the orders kept getting lost in the kitchen. I’ve never seen such awful service anywhere. It’s unclear whether the owner’s policy has changed to serve fewer dishes, or if it’s just the staff. The waiters kept disappearing somewhere and were never in the dining area. Whatever we asked for, they simply didn’t bring it, as if they were waiting for us to just get up and leave. I’ll never come back to this place again.

I want to come in here and leave a review for Ashley with the butterfly clip!!! She was absolutely wonderful, very kind and attentive. She swapped our grills for us and brought our cuts of meat. She checked on us far… FAR… more than our own waitress. But without diminishing anyone’s work, she completely changed our experience for the better.

Food is mid to low tier in comparison to other KBBQ in the area of Reseda and West Hills' AYCE kbbq.
Vibe is hectic. I was stressed almost all 5 times I've come here. Bathroom music is on full blast and more deafening than the clubs in West Hollywood.
Every time I come here I hope for a better time and that they would change. I am disappointed every time.

First time I came and ate here the service was bad and I never wanted to go back. But today I came with friends and Ashley was AMAZING everything we needed was out fast she was sooo nice and service was just amazing I will most definitely be back because of her plus she did it all without a tablet.
Eliza was great. There wasnt one moment when we didnt have meats offered to us. She was on it! It was also busy and she made it a point to take care of us. I appreciate 🙏 that level of dedication to one's craft! Thank you Eliza! We'll definitely be back!

Went here during lunch on a Sunday. There were still available tables around so not as busy. Every appetizer we’ve ordered were all cold. Not even warm to the touch. Ordered kimchi fried rice that was supposed to be cheese kimchi fried rice. Cold. Was excited to try the enw double dragon. Cold. Not even a bit warm. Soondoboo soup was warm enough to be able to sip the whole thing. No smoke whatsoever. Basically the only warm food we had was the meat that we were cooking. The salt on the sauces were stuck to the plate also heard the other table complain about it. Sad to say this will be the last time we will be visiting. Utterly disappointed.
