This place is mediocre at best. The food is hit or miss. The fried Wantons were good. The Seafood soup was awful. It had the consistency of a raw egg and had way more tofu in it than seafood. There was barely any seafood it. It was gross I would not recommend it. The garlic shrimp was prety good. The House Special shrimp has a weird taste kinda like a mix of sour and orange peels. Beef and broccoli was not bad but some of the pieces of beef were tough. The chow mein was a bit al dente and there were very few vegetables in it for a vegetable chow mein. It very clear this place is trying to cut corners but theyre doing it in the most obvious ways; less seafood in the seafood soup, less veggies in the chowmein, lower quality beef in the beef n broccoli, etc. I wouldnt come back there are better chinese restaraunts in the area. The service was ok, but the food was below average.

Unfortunately, I’m giving this place a 1 star review. I went there because it came recommended as I had mentioned to the attendant. I went there first thing in the morning when they opened to place an order for afternoon pick up at 4 PM, paid in advance.
When I got there to pick up my order The attendant told me they were working on it when in reality they hadn’t even started to make it.
Now I would have expected for my food to be ready by the time I told him I was picking it up as opposed to having to wait for them to make it. Food was already paid for in advance and had a pick up time.
I had to wait half hour or more for my food just to realize when I got home to have New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, it was unbeatable.
Orange chicken was dry and tasted bitter and burnt. Mongolian beef had a horrible burnt bitter taste. Chicken with vegetables had a foul smell.
Ended up, throwing away all the food after spending so much money for it. Attendant did not even apologize for my waiting time.
That will be the first and last time I would visit that place.

I had a terrible lunch today. Their cashew chicken had no flavor and full,of fatty chicken pieces.
The tea tasted like weakest tea you could brew. What is the matter with the chef?
I will never go back there again! The egg flower soup had no flavor at all

I've been to Asian food restaurants from Monterey Park.. L A. ... West L.A. So I was pleasantly surprised at North West valley of Porter Ranch. Golden Hunan food was excellent and service made for a lovely experience. Now I have a reason to visit Porter Ranch...

We tried this restaurant out but the food was less than subpar and the waitress was not good. She said she was too busy but she didn't even come take her order for at least 20 minutes the food was dry and not really edible. The Wonton soup was okay the sweet and sour chicken with fried so much it was dry we will not be back

This is our favorite Chinese food restaurant. We have tried others in the valley but they can’t compete with this one. The service is always great. They’ve stopped giving a scoop of ice cream after a meal but that’s not a big deal since the food is as good as always.

Placed an order over the phone and felt rushed. Asked for the total and was quoted almost $80 for 4 items. Within 1 minute, I called back to have an item removed because I thought the amount was absorbent. When the lady answered, she responded "yeah, what do you want?". She obviously knew me from caller ID and had just placed an order. Who answers the phone & speaks to customers this way? I said cancel my order and then was hung up on! About 40 min later, I received a phone call stating that the order was ready for pick up. I said, I called back and canceled since I was spoken to in a rude manner. She began yelling and before I could respond, she hung up again! Poor business model. I can only imagine what they do behind customers backs.
