My go to eatery and grocery place during college. Very affordable, all vegetarian meal.

I ordered Combi 2 it comes with a samosa, yogurt and pickles. The guy didn’t give me any of those things and said they were out. He charged me the full price knowing well they were out of the items and offered an extra dessert ball instead. I asked to be downgraded to Combo 1 and he refused. They’re dishonest! Don’t eat there. The naan was also stale.

I ordered Combo 2 which comes with a samosa, yogurt and pickles. The guy gave me none of those things. When I asked for them he said they were out. I asked to be downgraded to Combo 1 and he refused. Very dishonest to charge for something in a combo and then say you're out. Do not eat here they attempt to rip people off who are not Indian.

Met a friend here for a late meal. Unassuming restaurant in a spice shop. Decent portion sizes good flavor, and good variety of dishes. I ordered the Aloo Gobi. Cooked well and really enjoyed it. Naan was made fresh and was fantastic. Service and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Worker seemed bothered by customers being in there. I ordered the combo and paid 15 dollars on a 12 dollar total. Worker didnt give me change or a receipt. He just walked off. Also they have an old Thrifty's Ice Cream sign hanging up but when asked, they said they dont sell ice cream. Food 4/5 Price 5/5 Vibes 4/5 Service 1/5 More than likely wont return but might for the actual storefront for all the spices and ingredients.

Great service. When you come in, you instantly get greeted and seated and asked if you are ordering or there for the lunch buffet. We always go for the buffet, then you are asked about your preference for Naan. You are free to go about getting your own plate and packing it at your own desire. you can always get another plate to get more food, and don't worry, they refill the food quite frequently and quickly when any of it goes low. The food is great. Everything tastes fresh. The goat is amazing; it is well cooked and does not have game smell to it. One thing I would wish for, is some Sagg without the Paneer. Just straight Sagg would be nice, for those with Lactose problems :) but it is nice that there is a decent variety for those with Lactose problems. Definitely come and try their lunch buffet, it will get you addicted! Come once, and come back always again!

My experience here at the Northridge location has been mixed. It has a large variety of options for shopping. About the food, there is a lot of variance of how good it tastes. Some days are better than others. Generally I resonate with other comments on the rudeness of the employees. I used to leave big tips, but when they started getting rude, I stopped tipping. Sometimes I wait till end of service to tip, instead of when I order. Recently I was there and saw an employee wearing a pair of gloves, but he was sick and coughed into the glove and then handling sweets with the same glove within a few seconds.

This place is the best. You'd be hard pressed to find flavorful, vegetarian food of this quality at this price! It tastes like your grandma is cooking it in the back. So flavorful, so fast, and just so good! The staff is also all so sweet and focused on getting you your food timely and kindly. It's not a restaurant but a grocery store with a food court style area in the back so you aren't really going for the ambiance but it's very homely and sweet nonetheless. You can also get your grocery shopping done before or after you eat so it's super convenient. And if you crave something sweet after go to the front counter and get yourself some yummy goods! Personally recommend the pani puri or gol guppa!

I love indian food and their culture. The people that work here though were rude and not pleasant at all. It felt like they didnt want me coming in their store. Not coming back

Dishes were average the samosa was good but the Indian tea was horrible. One sip was bad enough.

Got ripped. Over priced nothing price marked, didn't give an invoice. Better to AVOID. Bombay spicelan down the road is a better place. Will not go there again.
