What I love about Islands is how impeccably clean their restaurants are. I used to see them go down with a flashlight 🔦 to check for crumbs under the seats.
I'm sad, however, that the quality of the food has gone down. I paid extra for a GF bun that was lackluster. I paid extra for sweet potato fries that were partially raw. I may not come back. For what we pay, the burgers should be better than In-N-Out.

My husband’s burger was great. I should have ordered the same I had a chicken bowl, it wasn’t horrible but lacked flavor. Great service.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and pleasantly surprised by no wait time for seating, chose to sit in the bar which is open seating if available. The place is spacious clean and greeting was quick. Did have to wait a while for a return for the order to be taken. Food is good here, I tried something I hadn't tried before, the Moa Crispy Chicken sandwich and it was well prepared and flavorful. Fries portions were sufficient, seems they used to be more, and I didn't ask if refills are available (think they used to be refillable). Waited a while for the bill as well. Nice visit.

The service is really bad overall. They brought the food before the appetizers. The kids food took forever to come. They didn't refill the drinks, and it seemed impossible to flag anyone to get the check for like 20 min.
It was overpriced and while not terrible, certainly not worth the price. I could've had a lot of sushi for what I paid for a kid menudo and 2 adults. (73 plus tip)

Friday lunch before the Christmas holiday! We shower right at opening and we're promptly greeted although they were still doing some prep work. We were seated by our hostess, she was friendly and informed us that our server will be Maddie. Maddie greeted us with a smile and took our drink orders, I ordered a hazy IPA and my coworker a Dr Pepper. Once she brought our drinks, she also brought water for me, which was something I had meant to order but forgot, she must read minds. Awesome job on that. The burgers were true to a burger, not some pre-formed frozen patty. I tried the Longboard but added bacon. It comes with 1000 island dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles on a toasted white bun (option of a wheat bun) comes with a side of french fries. The French fries seem to be fresh cut since they had the skins on em still, they were crisp and fresh, but not sure if they were. Offerings include some Mexican food, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. They also have different drink offerings such as soda, beer, mixed drinks and shakes. Sadly there are not many Island Burgers near me as they have closed down during the pandemic. I would say one of the perks of my job is I visit different areas throughout southern California and love venturing to find eateries such as this place. Will definitely be coming back as I will be working in the area for a bit longer. Thanks for a bit of nostalgia since it's been so long since I visited an Island restaurant. Wheelchair access and accommodations. There are a few outdoor seats as well.

The take out service is horrible. I stood there waiting for help for what felt like 15 minutes. Workers kept passing by and not even one person said I will be right with you until finally a manager came. Also my order wasn’t ready although it should have been and I stood there even longer. It is also frustrating when the order is done and sitting there on a table and no one tells you it’s ready. And this has happened numerous times.

I found myself at Island's, where I indulged in a Chicken Caesar salad and a comforting cup of tortilla soup. I also treated myself to Kona pie and a refreshing iced tea. The best part about dining alone? No competition for the cherry on top of the pie—my sweet victory! But on the flip side, the worst part? I’m also the only one fighting to pay the check.
With great service, delicious food, and an atmosphere that feels like a mini-vacation, I left feeling like a culinary winner. Between the soup, salad, and pie, I definitely had a trifecta of taste. Whether you come solo or meet up with friends, you’ll leave with a happy stomach and good memories. Island’s is all about satisfying cravings and creating smiles, one delicious bite at a time!

Went here recently to watch the MLB NLCS with Dodgers and Mets. Fun to sit at the bar and sip a beer while watching the games with other fans. The fans were solid without being out of control or obnoxious. So very fun in my opinion.
The bartenders are attentive and nice. Janny is a sweet one.
