The “BEST” Filipino Restaurant in California…All chicken and beef meals at this restaurant are the BEST. The meryenda such as Halo-Halo, Hopia, Empanadas and Ginataan are So Unique and Amazing!

The Breakfast was terrible with bangus being super small , super dry and only 1 tiny piece which was not worth my money! I tried to ask for refund and no response . terrible service and food not going back due to terrible quality and service. So many other better places

As a vegetarian I got the veggie combo. I asked for their veggie options and she said the veggie roll and ampalaya. I ordered both. Upon eating the ampalaya I noticed what looked like egg was not all yellow. I asked the cashier if it had meat she said “yes, it has ground pork.” I told her I’m vegetarian and why would it be considered a veggie option? She said, “you didn’t ask if it had meat.”Luckily I didn’t eat much of the ampalaya for it to affect me. I was very disgusted with the service and the lack of awareness that wasn’t brought to the use of pork. I would not recommend this place for the lack of care for their customers varied restrictions.Vegetarian options: This restaurant is not for vegans or vegetarians.

Food was good. We had dinuguan, bopis, afritada. The portion was plenty and price is fair. This id definitely my family’s new go to filipino restaurant! (Sulit na sulit!)

This was a right place at the right time situation. We were in the mall in Northridge and we did not want the usual fare so we tried Lillian's Filipino food. It was a good choice. Nice variety. Everything tasted great. Service was good. They answered all my questions. Lumpia was wonderful and the pansit was tasty. The place is brightly lit and very clean. It was perfect for the moment. Parking is free in the malls lots.

Service sucks! Food service workers have bad attitudes toward customers especially when providing utensils and basic services. Food is not even good!

The menu and how to order is so confusing in my opinion especially coming for the first time. My boyfriend and I had to stare at the menu for like 5 minutes just to understand what we could get and then there weren't even names for all the different food options. And this is like an Asian cuisine place so for someone who does not know what everything is already again confusing. Food itself was good, and they give big portions however pricey. Definitely a good place for the mall though, super casual.

Their hopias is alway delicious especially the Ube!! I just had their Turon and it was tasty as well! The go to items I always look forward to getting is the ukoy, lumpias, and hopias. Everything on their menu is just good! The workers are always nice.

The frist time the restaurant was open the Halo Halo's were the best thing I have ever tasted. The Ube and Vanilla ice cream tasted rich and creamy. And the red and green palm jelly tasted sweet and smooth. And the rainbow jellies had all kinds of different taste. And love mango and lychee jellies were tasty and tangy. And it also had rice honey cereal on top. Which was quite interesting and the liquid of the Halo Halo was no too sweet. And had a coconut rich and condensed milk taste overall was yummy. Until Now as came the Halo Halo has no texture on the ice cream especially the Ube tasted. Old like if had been for days. Especially the Ube ice cream this time there wasn't any Vanilla ice cream in my Halo Halo. Nor any honey cereal treat topping. And the liquid milk hardly had any coconut flavoring or hard a Ube nor a condensed milk flavor. And the red and green palm jelly tasted like medicine and Anastasia jelly the dentist gives you to numb your teeth. I rather eat that then whatever that was served to me. Knowing I paid 7$ for tasteless and stale item. Also please don't consume the Halo Halo's at this restaurant there are better Philippino bakeries that serves better Halo Halo's in Van Nuys like Craft Boba and Red Ribbon bakery! These options are better than this commercialized garbage Lilian Bakery has two locations so it's not. A small Asian mom and pop shop. Also they don't let you add anything to your Halo Halo's because the Indian guy hope doesn't work there anymore since he's very lacking of humbleness. I asked if I can add Grass Jelly to my Halo Halo he didn't explain why. And instead of being reasonable he is very egotistical like he owns the place and was mimicking the way I talk and said " no we can't add anything to it!" I offered to pay extra and refused that's not customer service I am paying what I am asking for why should it matter?! Also the third time I went a sweet short place skinned old woman attended. Very sweet and humble way of treating customers bless her heart. Served my Halo Halo and asked why I can't add Grass Jelly to my Halo Halo. She kindly explained because the Halo Halo's can't be modified or changed since everything is pre made fresh and ready to serve. And yeah it tasted fresh not going lie it did. The fourth time which was yesterday I went and the richness and taste of Halo Halo's has died and lacked so much flavor. I walked in the last and only time I will never go in this place even if someone paid me enough. I saw a refrigerator in the back counter with cups filled not even half the cup. Filled with white and red beans and other jellies. And Ube syrup smothered inside the whole cup to give. "That rich taste" which didn't regardless what they do to make taste like "something" which lead to tasting tasteless and processed. And who knows how much time or days those filled cups were in fridge and they weren't even covered with any lid. Just openly in the fridge and only served me and others. All they do is put tasteless medicine tasting palm jellies. No cereal treat on top and very dense and old tasting Ube ice cream. Yeah everyone Halo Halo's are served to you very lazy and effortless. And not fresh at all and trust me these Halo Halo's used taste fresh when this restaurant just opened. Made them fresh it didn't matter how much time it took the effort is what matters. And flavorings of each toppings everything tasted much more better when it was fresh prepared not premade and processed. Shame on you lost a loyal and paying customer now I will spend my money and time elsewhere it. Makes sense why the car wash location shut down I hope all your restaurants do too and the food doesn't look or taste on what you advertise. All lies Godbless and I definitely take money somewhere that would more valuable than this restaurant thank you.

I had their kare-kare and steam rice combo and buko pandan for dessert. The food was delicious and fresh, however kare-kare only had two tripes and their buko pandan was dry. It didn’t have any cream.

First time trying Lilian's Filipino Restaurant & Bakery at Northridge Mall in the food court. ***(Go all the way down for my overall thoughts but please read through the review for your own thoughts on the place and what to expect)*** My first thought of the place was that it was very cute and the Filipino vibes were present with Filipino singers singing English songs in their Bluetooth speaker. I was greeted by a man who spoke Tagalog and was very kind to even offer to fill up our water bottles with water to reduce cup waste. My girlfriend and I ordered 2 double-double combo that ended with a grand total of $36.41. This was the most I have ever spent for 2 combo meals at any Filipino restaurant. Our combos came with 2 scoops of rice and my girlfriend ordered lechon kawali and pork adobo as her meat of choice. For me I ordered their Sisig and chicken adobo for my meat of choice. My girlfriend told me that the lechon kawali was hard to chew and did not tasted fresh. And for me the Sisig felt soggy, not the type of Sisig I generally like. The vegetables that came in the Sisig too was cut bigger than the pork of the Sisig itself. As for the chicken adobo and pork adobo, it tasted fine and was alright with the flavor. The adobos were not something special. It was really just regular adobo to me. At the very end, I was disappointed with how I felt leaving the place. The prices for the combos were higher than I expected compared to other Filipino restaurants I have been to in the Valley. Other places I have been to even offered soup from their sinigang and offered Mang Tomas with their lechon kawali because chefs know that lechon kawali can sometimes be dry when cooked wrong. Overall, the high prices for the Filipino food at Lilian's Restaurant & Bakery that can be found else where in the valley is not worth it for me to come back. If you are at Northridge Mall and craving Filipino food before 5 or 6pm, I recommend going to Lasang Pinas on De Soto avenue or Manila Sunset at Sepulveda Boulevard. There you will get more for you money and will leave the place feeling good with what you paid for. P.S. Lasang Pinas is closer to Northridge Mall and the man who runs it is super nice and kind. Do not be afraid to ask him what the food is and his recommendation because the food there is cooked by him.

Many Filipino food selections. Good location at Northridge mall good food court.Parking: Best is use the free parking garage on the second floor and as you enter the mall entrance you will get to the food court second floor.Dietary restrictions: There are so many selections that you can find something to order.

Foods all right and workers stay talking to their friends screaming across the space, taking their time while there were three customers waiting to be serviced.
