Boyfriend and I went yesterday and fell in love with the drinks, pastries, and empanadas. What really makes me want to keep coming back was not just the food and drinks, but the owner. I'm assuming she's the owner, but, she asked us if it was our first time and we said yes. She went to explain to us what yerbe mate and also gave us a sample to try.
After we finished, we said our thank yous and she asked me if I want more of the tea. She filled my cup up without extra charge. It's her energy and her treating us like family that makes me really want to return to this place. So glad we found out about Mate Conmigo.

A few of my friends have been raving about this place for months and after being here twice I totally get it. The drinks and food are delicious and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The shop itself is welcoming and nicely decorated. Their food and beverages are relatively inexpensive considering the quality. I will definitely continue to be a returning customer!

The 5 stars are very well deserved!!! So I went here because the place i was going to go to was way overcrowded and I needed dinner for my family. I was expecting end of day stale food because it was an hour before closing, but NO. The empanadas, sandwiches de miga and alfajores de maicena were ALL fresh and delicious! In fact, the beef empanadas were hands down the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. I was hesitant to even try them because I’ve been disappointed too many times with beef ones. Usually you get pure ground beef with some spices and maybe a piece of egg and an olive, but these were a fine texture and flavorful like something that had simmered for 10 hours with onions, spices, and perhaps a little tomato sauce(??) Amazing. Delicious. I want more! The alfajores de maicena had a bright flavor, almost like it had a touch of lemon zest in it. The coconut they were rolled in wasn’t overly hard or coarse but very fine and had a strong coconut flavor. Yum!! I congratulate the owners of this fine place!

I love this place! They serve delicious mate drinks, both hot and cold, plain or mixed with a variety of fruit concentrates they make themselves. This is also a great place to enjoy a variety of empanadas (regular and vegan), Argentinian pastries (facturas) and many other treats. It’s a good place to hang out, work on your laptop or meet with friends. The atmosphere is cozy and the owner, Gaby, is so friendly and warm. Go and check it out!

My go-to for fresh mate and DELICIOUS empanadas! The owner, Gabi, is very friendly and has great energy. If you've never tried mate, I definitely reccomend trying it instead of your daily coffee/energy drink fix.
