Mee Dee Thai Kitchen operates out of this Northridge-based food hall and pumps out some really solid Thai dishes. Our favorites are the pork belly, crab fried rice, chicken satay, and pad khee mao. We've been less impressed with the pad thai and a few others, but overall Mee Dee is a really solid choice for Thai food. When we're in the mood for take out Thai food, Mee Dee Thai Kitchen is often one of the first to pop up.

5 stars! I've been a regular at Mee Dee Thai Kitchen for a couple of years and it's high time I shared why I consider it the best Thai restaurant in the valley, if not LA. This place truly captures the richness of Thai flavors, steering clear of the overly sweetened adaptations often found in other LA Thai restaurants. The Khao Soi here is superb, surpassing even the famous Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas. Their drunken noodles and pad see ew are excellent staples, but it's their Pad Thai that really stands out. It's the most authentic I've had in the area, with the perfect balance of tamarind and fish sauce notes.Mee Dee Thai Kitchen is a gem that deserves to be kept open. If you're looking for amazing Thai food that stays true to its roots, this is the place to go.

Had the Cry Baby noodles. WOW! Sooooo good. I loved this dish. Entrance is in the back and then you magically walk into an Asian food court. Skip pad Thai and get this. You'll love it. For sure.

This review is long overdue!!! You won't be disappointed with anything you get. Everything is so delicious and so flavorful it's unbelievable. If you like spicy make sure to get spicy level! I have not been disappointed at all. From the tom yum fries, wings, drunken noodles, Krapow Chicken with Fried Egg and the pork belly, fried rice, it is all so good!!!! Food always comes out at a good amount of time and staff is always very friendly and helpful. Will keep coming back! Thank you for executing delicious food!

Best Thai food in the area. Some of the best Thai food in LA. Yellow Curry and the ground chicken are packed with flavor. This place a must try. The 4.3 stars don’t do this place justice compared to the higher rated thai places in the area.

Well, its a nice surprise when a local spot is serving up interesting and tasty dishes.I had the green curry and rice, the Pad-Seeewee, and some curry fries. All really nice. Pretty small on the portions, but that does allow one to try the different neighbors.......What am I saying? YES!! This place is in a food hall, with 4 other somewhat different cuisines. All pretty much around the Asian fusion kick, from Thai to Korean, to Chinese, to Chicken, Sushi, Ramen, Pho, .So , I recommend coming here, and sharing a table if you will. One MAJOR negative is that I noticed at least one place does NOT take money. They only take credit. I unfortunately will not support such businesses, and will not return. It takes away my right to pay for their convenience of running a business. So, I will take it elsewhere. So if you don't mind to support the end of money, and allow reason for cashless digital tracking, then I would recommend the food.Food I give 4 stars, the Pad See Ewee, had nice pieces of shrimp, and good seer, and flavor. Low on the juicy-saucy side, but not a prob. The fries curry sauce was GREAT! I cannot give 1 or 2 or 3 for not taking cash, but I cannot give 5 Star for not doing it. You are making a little convenience now for a lot of future issues.

This spot is perfect is you're looking for Thai food and you need it QUICK. This is also the first Thai place that I've been to that allows their customers to pick a spice level for pad see ew (one of my favorite noodle dish). They also have mango sticky rice that I found to be very tasty. Ordering is very easy, you just order at the kiosk, select what you want, and then pay. They usually have my order out within 10 minutes!

The drunken noodles plate is absolutely delicious. Wait time is reasonable. Little to no contact with staff as ordering is done thru self-serve iPad

Went at 6pm on a Tuesday to-go. No line, the food hall had several people in it but plenty of open seats. Got the green curry chicken slider and curry puff. The slider was great just wish it was wetter, either from the slaw or the curry aioli. Aioli on the side would’ve been great too, I wish I asked. Curry puff was good too! Sweeter than I expected. Also thought there would be more curry in that too. Nonetheless both are delicious. Next time I’d ask for extra aioli or pair those dishes with a curry/soup.

Delicious! Mee Dee Thai Kitchen first gained my attention when I saw that they had curry puff's on the menu! The only place I find these are at Wat Thai and that's rare. I ordered the crab fried rice and was hesitant since it was $20 BUT once I tried it beyond worth it. The rice was so light and fluffy and the onions were diced not sliced which incorporated onion in every bite, which I loved. 10/10 The Pad see ew was light and authentic. Noodles were cooked perfectly. And last but not least the curry puffs were to DIE FOR. The women at the front desk was also so nice and had a welcoming smile on her face, I will definitely be back.

I was really excited to try this place as it was my first time at northridge eats. There was no one at the front, but there was a computer tap screen where I placed my ordered and paid for it. There are plenty of spots to eat at and your name is called when the order is ready. I got the pad thai which was large enough for two people to share. Unfortunately, I thought the pad thai was very plain and the noodles were very chewy as if overcooked. I got medium spicy with it, so it was odd that there was little to no flavor.

Was disappointed. The curries and noodles are too sweet. Not sure what they add but something is off

I was only able to try the dessert here but it was delicious! The mango sticky rice was a great consistency and I actually like when the mango is a little sour to counter the sweetness. The strawberry Nutella croffle was an unexpected favorite as well and definitely rounded out our meal. I will definitely come back to try their other food!
