This was my first time going here, I was looking for a good Mexican food restaurant and Metro Balderas pop up on google, and it's close to the school " CSUN" , so I'm taking my chance ..... I am excited and anxious at the same time. Food freshly made, Service is excellent !!! They are friendly and patient.

It is nasty and they put peas and corn in the rice. Don't do it! Service is as good n all but the food has no flavor. I ordered asada tacos and rice and beans plate. I'll never be back. And this ain't theyre competition writing this. These are real taste buds talking lol

Asada huaraches are amazing. We get this every time. We also enjoy their chicken tinga tacos!!! Their salsas are delicious and also their Agua Fresca!

My wife and I were parking behind this restaurant to pick up some groceries from Vallarta, when we got out of the car a heavenly aroma immediately came upon us. We thought it was the market, after we did our shopping we went to investigate where the scents were coming from. Great little restaurant with some of the best tacos I've had, Good prices and friendly service! I can't believe I never noticed before. Plenty of Parking in rear lot. I am not familiar with the DF food and look forward to exploring it.

I came in to use the restroom and it smelled so delicious that I got tacos and a quesadilla on a whim! It was flavorful and tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend trying this place! :)

Food is delicious and they carry items that other Mexican restaurants don't. My go to meal is a huarache with beef, but I recently tried the gorditas and they were amazing. This place is definitely authentic, the hand made tortillas, the cheese, the salsas and aguas frescas. Parking isn't great due to its location. It's on a busy street, Vallarta across the street, and the lot is quite small.

The chicharron quesadilla is superb. As are the huaraches de cecina & tacos de suadero & carnitas. The other stuff is from ok to good. Some great like the pambazo. It’s a hit & miss on the freshness of the salsa, ambiance, parking & cleanliness. Over all a good chilango food spot if a trip to eat in Mexico City is not possible soon. Worth the parking troubles.EDIT: 12/12/22The service is slow AF now as they take large phone orders & line them up ahead of the customers in the restaurant. I’m at almost 20 min waiting on my food. Definitely not a spot for a quick bite any more. They need more cooks , or a different staff to just handle phone cause sitting here watching people off the street come in ahead of you (in large numbers) is annoying af. A few min away from asking for my money back & heading elsewhere. ??????
