We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue.
Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed.
The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group.
Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit.
Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.

Consistently fantastic. Been coming here monthly for 3+ years now, literally never had a bad time. Owner regularly chats me and my wife/friends up. All of the staff have been here for a long time and are super helpful. Great atmosphere, food is consistently good, and they always have a big selection of beers on tap. Can't go wrong with paragon!
Parking: Easy. Plenty.
Kid-friendliness: It has a bar but it's not rowdy or anything. My six year old comes here.

We stopped in to watch the super bowl, this being our first time there. The food was outstanding. The service was fantastic. The drinks were reasonably priced. We had a great time. We will certainly be back.
I visited this establishment for the first time today. Absolutely loved it! It was not busy, probably because it was a Monday and raining. The owner was exceptional and a very nice crowd. Can't wait to come on another day.

Cool place and great place to have trivia. However, (one of) the manager is kinda rude and unfriendly. They also are the only bar not to comp trivia hosts during trivia night. They seem to be proud of it too? Very weird
