Porto's Bakery and Cafe

I generally don’t write reviews but it’s the first time I’m missing items from my order. I placed a dine in order with a whole cake, cheese rolls, etc. Once I paid, I tried to gather my 3 bags from checkout, and one of the bags was pulled by a worker. They told me “oh this isn’t for you.” I said OK and walked away, only to get home and find out my cakes are missing.

Hello. Portos Bakery Nordoff branch is very good. There are a few problems with ordering from Uber Eats. 1- On Saturdays and Sundays, it turns off the ordering section from 9 am to 2.5 pm, and recently it turns off during normal days as well, so we can't order.

Every year our company purchases about 280 fresh and delicious dozen pastries over six days, and we coordinate early morning pickups from this location in Northridge to then deliver to more than 240 of our clients in the Ventura County area. This year we faced an unexpected challenge: out-of-area resellers. Porto’s online system would not be able to take our larger orders without proper vetting.
Ana M, la jefa, quickly identified that our large online orders could be automatically declined due to safeguards against resellers, then immediately provided an approved alternative process. Her communication and leadership ensured everything ran smoothly from the very beginning. Despite the scale and tight timing, Porto’s team executed flawlessly.
Jonathan, Selena Castro, Christina, Jennifer at the catering desk, Jordan Wilson, and Elena from Senior Sales all contributed to an efficient, friendly, and highly professional process. I apologize that I didn’t catch everyone’s name; you all deserve the acknowledgment.
It is refreshing to see a business that does not automate tipping. With that said, this is one place where I would gladly approve a pre-calculated tip, as the service truly earns it.
Porto’s sets a high standard for customer care, internal communication, and execution. Congratulations to the entire Northridge Porto’s team.

My mocha hit the spot, waiting for our order!! Fresh sour dough bread and two Plato’s- chicken & stew meat!! The spinach empanadas are Fabulous 💕

EVERY BAKERY & RESTAURANT IN THE U.S.A. Could learn a lot about food presentation, customer care & satisfaction from this family. WOW ! That is beside all of the excellant food product like, potato balls. Excited to go to Porto's everytime we travel here. We received a gift box of product sent to us in N.W. Illinois from Porto's & it came in perfect TASTY condition. Thank you for sharing your family's love of food !
