Before I give my rating, let me say u can 100%give a legit honest review for the following reasons:I used to work here up until they switched owners ( as a hostess)and I had everything on the original menu.Today, was my first time eating there with new owners. It was unbelievably dead and void of people, lacked the ambiance it once had. No owners on site,no hamd menus,it appeared ti be sorta like a combination between fast food and restaurant picking from a wall menu and serving your own drinks in plastic cups.We were served on metal trays with paper on them, they don't serve the food on plates but paper and small paper trays. My son (13) said the trays made it feel like he was in a prison. His ribs were lukewarm, as was my try tip.I ate paper withmy meal because I had ti cut my try tip ,therefor tearing the paper on trays.when we got there only 3 tables (including us) were in rosies. My sonsbaked beans look dry and left over.I want to note that I don't favor either owner as I met him when he first came ,He's friends with the original owner. What I will say is I miss the original menu, environment, servers and I miss the family friendly it original had. There was always laughter, conversations ppl catching up and the owner was always involved in one way or another. I wasn't comfortable here and we only ate half of food before deciding to go home .my son looked at me and said" it was alright" I don't see us coming back here ,we'll maybe as a second d option. And he's 13. On a good note I really appreciate the bus boy (God forbid they have servers) reheating my food and checking to see if there's egg in the rolls. He was super friendly ( an African American fellow wearing all black) .His kindness was thr only positive aspect at rosies bbq and grillery on carbon in Northridge.

Owner is a great guy. BBQ is phenomenal. Definitely better than going to places like Wood Ranch or Claim Jumper. Better food for a cheaper

We had not been here in a while even though it is close to the house. I am sure they have changed owners since the pandemic and not really taking care of this restaurants legacy. Pre-pandemic, we would visit here at least once a month. They had an excellent salad bar and food was always predictably good. On our recent visit for dinner, I have to say I was quite disappointed. As I said, not been here for a while. The new owners (and I am only assuming this as the place seemed to have changed drastically) have really not kept to the old Rosie's standard. The salad bar that used to be a highlight of each visit, is gone. They no longer have table service. You order at the front desk and they deliver food to your table, which in itself, would not make my review this harsh. Also gone is the senior menu, that I enjoyed as it saved on cost, a little. The BBQ chicken breast dinners that we ordered, the chicken seemed overcooked and dry. Dinners come with one of their sides. I wanted a baked potato. I was informed that they were all sold out. How does this happen at a restaurant on a Saturday night at only 6:30, when the place is mostly empty! I settled on the fully loaded mashed potatoes. Tasted mostly good and a good portion size, but was very salty! I did not want to complain and wait for another order. My GF ordered the corn on the cob as her side. At the desk they asked if she wanted it with special seasoning. In our mind, this conjured the idea that it would have something like "elote" seasoning. What she received was plain BBQ corn on the cob, salted. Really! that's what you call special seasoning??? Through out our meal, the restaurant remained mostly devoid of patrons, with the exception of a few take out orders. Several of the tables where patrons had dined, had not been bussed, or cleaned. No reason to see 3 tables full of dirty dishes, from the time we came in until the time we left. Where is the manager in this place??? As far as I'm concerned , sad to say, but with all of the other dining options in the area, no reason to come back to Rosie's

Best BBQ in the valley. Hands down. Been to them all and I can say the Brisket is the best I’ve tried, wife loves the tri-tip. We come here weekly and it never fails to satisfy. Here is what I have tried. Brisket(fav) & Tritip sandwhich, mashed potatoes, fries, Ceaser salad (fav), Garlic rolls and their home made sausage link hot dog with chili cheese. All of which I like. Can’t speak for the rest of the menu items but when I find something I like I usually stick to it.

Before I came in I was already introduced by how good the bbq was smelling. This place actually blew my mind on the taste although it’s a lil pricey for one meat and one side I would recommend for good tasting bbq if you ever are in this area.

Excellent reviews were one of the main reasons I gave this place a try. I felt the need to leave this to deter others from making the same mistake. I ordered Brisket, mashed potatoes and Mac, all were subpar. The Mac and cheese tastes store bought and honestly not even brand names it was so plain, the mashed potatoes (my favorite food btw, yes it's weird lol) were dry and tasted like they had something weird in them that didn't complement the taste at all. Onto the main dish, the reason I wanted bbq was for good brisket. It was atrocious. I thought it smelled unappetizing with a strong pickled smell before I even got a chance to take a bite and it went downhill from there. On top of being cut lengthwise and improperly distributing the fat, it simply didn't taste good. It tasted like pickled meat without the mesquite and I don't recommend this place at all. Will not be returning. Save yourself an overpriced stomach ache.
