Honestly we we stopped at two places before coming here and one of them was so loud we couldn't hear each other and the other one was so busy there was a one hour wait but everything happens for a reason because then we came here and it did not disappoint. I've been wanting to come here for awhile now. The service is wonderful the people who work there are super nice, they have great customer service and they make sure your table is clean once plates are empty (love it). Since it was our first time there we got 6 different things we had a lot of Togo food but everything was amazing. The baked muscles fantastic there was no grit in them they didn't taste like the ocean floor the sushi was fresh and well made their rice was perfect. When they say good sushi rice makes a difference they were talking about Shogun sushi rice. The place it's self is not extravagant and the menu is a little old fashion it doesn't have great quality of pictures but honestly the service and the food speaks for itself. Oh and let not forget their Miso soup it was so delicious I have to say that was one of the best Miso soups we have ever had. The edemame was a little lacking but honestly who cares everything else was amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Been coming here since my college days in 2006 from CSUN . I hated sushi until I came here and tried it ! Long time family run spot with great tasting sushi, good prices, and fast service. I have never had a bad moment here, or a messed up order . Will forever be my favorite no matter what.

Good cheap sushi, but service still sucks This place used to be a great deal for what you get but the prices have gone way up and the quality has not unfortunately.

If zero stars was an option, I would put it. I Took my mother here to celebrate her birthday and was having an ok time until she asked me if I would be embarrassed if she sent the meal back because it tasted so bad. I took a bite of it myself to try it, and it literally tasted worse than a packaged Ichiban Ramen that I would buy at the store. We let the waitress know very kindly that she did not like the meal and the waitress was staring at my mom with a frown face not responding to make my mom overcompensate and continue to speak almost to make her feel more uncomfortable and make her feel bad about the situation. I was incredibly blown away this customer service. She then grabbed the bowl and said “whatever” started rolling her eyes and shaking her head. My jaw literally dropped as I have never had customer service as horrible as this. !!My sushi roll was horrible as well not authentic sushi at all!! We continued to drink the rest of our iced tea and try to enjoy being with each other, and finally when our bill was brought to us the waitress/owner told us that nothing was wrong with the meal that we sent back so we are still going to have to pay for half of it. She claimed that that was their policy. Even at a five star restaurant or a multiple hundred dollar meal they would never expect you to pay for it if you did not enjoy it so we were just blown away with this experience. It was terrible and made us feel so uncomfortable to even stay in the restaurant afterwards.
