The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Yesterday, 12/27/24, we stopped by at our most frequented Coffee Bean and were helped out by Eli, who was very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was in good spirits and although they were busy, which they almost always are when we stop by, the drinks were ready in a few minutes. They all wished us a happy new year and we were on our way!

A good alternative for my wife and I since we started boycotting S-bucks. Nice to hang outside and enjoy coffee with the wifey.

Outdoor atmosphere is extra. U can enjoy the fire pits outside and lit covered patio sundown. Enjoy your coffee and lattes al fresco plus at 2500 points U collect 4 free drinks a year…..Keep coming back ☕️

Please teach your team to not touch their nose and mouth and them start making customers drink without washing their hands

Very unsanitary

The staff are super welcoming and helpful. Loved the joy and kindness of the young lady who took my order. She was very attentive along with greeting other patrons as they walked in with a smile.

I normally would give a Coffee Bean store 5 stars, anywhere. However, I wanted to be noticed and this store routinely prepares our favorite drink, the Vanilla Ice Blended, with chunks of unblended ice that block the large straw. Today was no different... but it should have been. A few couple of months ago, we happened to meet the manager of the store and told her that the Northridge store is the only one we've visited that has this problem. West LA, Magic Mountain, Ventura Blvd., even the store inside a gas station near the Salton Sea, make the Blended with a smoothie-like consistency, no chunks. She told us it was one of the blenders that caused the issue and it would be remedied. Well, the last two visits a week apart and there is still a problem, possibly when the offending blender is used but I don't watch the staff to see which one is selected. I first looked for a way to contact either the store or corporate directly today but CBTL's contact form is non-existent, only the international links appear on the website. Maybe someone will listen now. I almost forgot, using the app for a points reward? That doesn't appear to be working either. This is the second time the "free drink" was not free but, at least this time, I noticed the 450 pts were deducted from my balance anyway. The last time I just thought it didn't work and nothing was deducted. Oh, well. Note to the manager about this: don't leave trainees alone at the register. They don't know how to fix this issue.

Most Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf locations are great.

But the Northridge Location needs a Monthly Customer Service Training in place.

We were at the CB n TL Northridge, CA this morning.

We purchased a 32 oz Cookie Butter Latte and a 32 oz Iced Mango Cold Brew Tea.

The Mango Cold Brew Tea was made with Black Ice Tea instead of Jasmine Tea.

The female barista swears it is the Mango Cold Brew we ordered and did not offer to redo it.

Why did Kevin leave this location. He would have fixed it for us.

We will never go to this location ever again.

The shop needs refresh and remodeling. Bathroom for sure. I noticed a workers in the front was too friendly with customers very good but they couldn't touch customer animals like dogs ! and go back to touch customer food and drinks!! Please manager have notec for workers .. thanks

I go here often to study and their drinks are mid. The atmosphere is good to hunker down and do work for 5 hours though. The main reason why I’m docking two stars is because there’s a guy that literally lives there. Like he’s there from opening to close, in the corner, occupying two tables, four chairs, accumulating a tower of coffee cups, an entire outlet, and he yells/claps frequently. It’s so annoying. He also has two sets of headphones that he rotates between and it’s weird. I need coffee bean to remove this pest.

This location is very convenient in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. They open early in the morning at 6:00 a.m. so it's convenient to go there. There's not much seating but services quick and I like the fact that it's very convenient to go from your car to the store and back to your car due to the ample parking.

Erika is the BEST BARISTA @ this Coffee Bean. The New & Sensational Supervisor runs a Tight Shift. Wish the rest took some notes, Observe & Learn.
Erika treats ALL Customers with Respect, Care and Attention.
Her drinks are Right On! She is very cooperative and friendly. The rest needs to learn from her and implement. Others come across 2 strong, 2 much or 2 fake!

I dumped the Starbucks next door for the fakes and jerks that work there…
Thank God we still have women managers/supervisors like Erika.
