This place has become my go-to for Indian food. The service was attentive, and the food was out of this world. I loved the rich and aromatic flavors of the chicken vindaloo, paired perfectly with a hot, fluffy naan. The restaurant’s ambiance is bright and inviting, with beautiful Indian decor. It’s a wonderful place to gather with friends or family for a memorable meal.

They've been out of plant based chicken for months and won't respond to email or social outreach.

Ordered a Paneer Kathi Roll and a Three Curry Combo, guy hands it over. Open it at home and it's only the Three Curry Combo. Wouldn't give a refund. :/

my wife & I frequent this spot quite a bit so a review is long overdue. but this place is one of our favorite Indian spots in the Valley. we've been to all the popular Canoga Park options that I won't name here and this one is probably our favorite because of the simple fact they have so many regional options to choose from. you can get quite lost looking at their menu but I recommend the 3 item Curry Combo. You get tons of food for $15 and can sample 3 of their curries. I always get a different set of 3 every time. comes with some pickled veggies, yogurt, and a choice of Dal (lentil soup), rice (I love the tamarind rice) & bread (I get the tandoori roti to dip into the curry with but garlic naan is prob the most popular).

and if you arent feeling Curry then try their dosa. and I always get the masala chai tea as a way to finish everything off. hats off to the Chefs here!

p.s. and their little robot that serves you the food is pretty cute to watch. restaurant is also very clean in case that's a concern. Edit: forgot to add there is ample parking here as well.

Best Indian food in the valley. I’ve been struggling to find food that tastes like my mom’s cooking, and this is very close! Riki’s service is stellar, he makes us feel right at home 🙏🏽

Food is awful, not healthy, dosa is made with grits instant, clearly no fermented taste, not healthy, Parathas are like frozen, this is just one downgrade non healthy Indian restaurant who makes money with cheap products.

I will never return here. I first learned of Tulsi when I began to see a flood ads on Facebook for the new opening in Northridge and their daily lunch buffet.I was flooded in my feed with reels, stories, and ads. I decided to try it and went for lunch a few times, it was delicious and the service was great. I even brought a friend to try. We both loved it. I went for lunch today at 11:30 before the crowds. I was not greeted by the young man behind the counter. He didn't even smile. I asked if I should just sit down anywhere in the room where the buffet was, but I was informed the buffet is no longer available. Disappointed, I decided to order from the menu. The young man took my order but didn't smile, offer any other words or say thank you when my order was complete/paid for at the register. He was busy, preoccupied and seemed as if I was bothering him. I sat down at the table he indicated (not sure why I couldn't choose my own table) and it had crumbs and grease on the tabletop as well as the cushion I was sitting on. I grabbed napkins to clean both. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the entire place. I waited 25 minutes for my food. At the 20 minute mark, I asked the young man if it would be much longer and was told 5 more minutes. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Again, it seemed as if I was bothering him. I saw a gentleman get up from his table to ask the same worker how long his would take. There were only 2 dining tables occupied and it was now 11:45, still before the lunch rush. When he placed the tray of food at my table, he said NOTHING, just placed it down. He didn't even look at me. I didn't have silverware. I had to get up and get it myself. Thank goodness there was ONE spoon in a self service basket (not even a fork). The food was not tasty and did not seem fresh. I did not eat most of it. My portion of rice was so small. Nothing like the tasty buffet food I had a few months ago. I decided to check the reviews of this restaurant and noticed MANY poor reviews. I wasn't surprised to see this. What surprised me was the responses to these poor reviews by Tulsi management apologizing for the poor service and food quality and stating "We hope we can make it right". This clearly means they want that customer to come back. However ,there was ZERO offers in these responses to "make it right". I find this a poor excuse to show that poor quality of service provided is in fact acceptable by Tulsi. If it were not acceptable, an actual offer would be made to actually "make things right". A credit, a refund would be the way to make things right. I also noticed that Tulsi restaurant in Northridge no longer exists on Facebook or Instagram. No main page at all when there was just a few short months ago. What remains is ONE very short reel that must be new because there is NO mention of a buffet when that's all that was being pushed only a few short months ago. This just confirms that the restaurant doesn't act professionally and is fully aware of its poor tasting food, and poor service and it is acceptable and good enough for them. I will certainly not return.

Where does chilli paneer looks like this ? They gave me a ketchup soup with three paneer slices for chilli paneer. I would recommend the chef to first know the recipe before adding it to your menu.

The food was nothing like what I expected—both in appearance and taste. On top of that, the staff was rude and unhelpful when I had questions about the menu. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning

I would suggest never go to the buffet. Paid $40 for two but felt like what we ate some left over food which taste really bad and not even worth a dollar. Its the worst buffet I went from the whole world. Choices are very very very less. And you will be helpless once you go in there after paying. I really didn’t wanna make any arguments over there after the buffet for some food. So i left silently. But I hope the review will atleast let another person to not to waste your money.
