Cute little fast casual place. The menu might be a challenge for someone who isn't very familiar with Indian cuisine. I was super happy with the plant based Chicken Tikka. The Naan was really good. Very good portions. Definitely want to come back and try more stuff.

If you’re thinking about going, GO! One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. All the food was very good. I highly recommend their masala curry and their tikka fries. The place was very clean with friendly staff. But I loved the price! So affordable and big portions ! Don’t hesitate to go.

Excellently maintained restaurant with efficient, kind personnel. It was pleasant that they repeatedly inquired if we would like more of their hot, freshly cooked breads. They served us a wonderfully arranged buffet. A wide variety of products to try. I'm not sure if this is a problem exclusive to North Indian cuisine or not, but I didn't enjoy the meal. With the exception of one very special occasion, I have generally appreciated the food at the several Indian restaurants I have visited over the years. Sadly, I was unable to enjoy Tulsi's food buffet as much as I would have liked.

Nice clean restaurant with friendly helpful staff. We were asked multiple times if we would like more of their hot freshly made breads, which were nice. We had their buffet which was beautifully presented. Lots of different items to try. I am not sure if it is a North vs South Indian food issue or not but unfortunately, I just didn't like the food. I have eaten in several different Indian restaurants over the years and have usually enjoyed the food, with only 1 other notable exception. I really wanted to like Tulsi's food buffet - but sadly, just didn't.

Love Tulsi. Have been to their other branches before, but it was my first time here. Staff was friendly and food arrived quickly. It was served by a robot called Bella! I had the ghee roast dosa. I highly recommend it for those who like spicy podi inside the dosa. The ghee flavor was delicious and chatni and samabar were good too. Their dabeli is my favorite appetizer. It takes me straight to the streets of India. The lassis are $3 when you buy a dosa or a combo which is an added plus.

I signed up for text alerts to receive deals and the menu items. Last time when I received a text message about getting a free pickled jar upon spending $25 or more at the restaurant. I drove all the way excited about the jar and got to learn they sent that text message by mistake. If that was the case, just as sending the first message, they could have sent another text message informing customers that the first message was a mistake and the deal was not true for the day.I felt like I was tricked into going there at the restaurant since the food taste is anyway okayish.I asked for some sort of discount since I drove about 30 mins and I was straight away said no . Super disappointed, I don’t feel like going there again.

Food is good, but despite being a very slow day, service was very slow. Waited ages for fresh puri. Most dishes were like warm or cold.

Delicious food, great variety and a wonderful atmosphere and service! We were there somewhat early in the evening for dinner and had the wonderful opportunity to meet with the proprietor Chaitali. Super friendly and great service! We had the buffet and ordered dosas separately. The ghee podi roast was phenomenal! We are dosa aficionados and the ghee roast at tulsi tasted superb! It was wonderfully crisp and dripping with ghee, and was well complimented with the potato masala. It's a must have. Adults and kids loved it!The variety in the buffet was great and I really liked that they had healthy and tasty options, and every item was well made. I liked the channa Chaat, undhiyu, shahi paneer, black eyed peas, raita and kadhi. They were not spicy and the kids also enjoyed the food. Hot rotis and pooris were served right at the table. Desserts (rasmalai and mango shrikhand) were delicious too. Will definitely be back here when we visit LA again.
