This place caught my eye as I was driving by because he was standing outside waiting by the street. For me? No, for his friend walking by. Looks like he is pretty generous and always ready to help someone in need.

I walked inside and this place harkens back to yesteryear. It's my first time but I feel like I've been here. . . in a past life. It's very fun in there. It's immersive. He welcomes you at the door as others have said. He recommended a dish and I don't really know which one exactly, but it's super good.

It's steak, tomato, red onion, and French fries on a bed of rice. I gotta admit I was a little apprehensive because of how old and run-down the place looked. But this was so good, I'm definitely coming back. The meat was cooked nicely, seasoned or marinated nicely, the fries looked underdone but they were cooked through and still held together by the time I got home without getting soggy.

FAIR WARNING. When he offers salsa picoso, it's very spicy, like skip mild medium, go straight to spicy-burns-your mouth.

I spent 22 bucks on this plate. So it's not a cheap plate, but it is a fair amount of food for the price. I ate half and I'll save half. Works for me.

Quaint little spot with lots of love and character. Family run. Was greeted by an older man when we entered, we quickly realized he was doing everything. This one man show was host, server, and chef!! It was dinner time but he said his son and wife also work there in the mornings. Very kind individual 😊 The food was amazing. The ceviche had an amazing flavor, tangy and spicy, and very very fresh!! My mom got the Tallarin Saltado with chicken and the flavor was super tasty! All good 👍🙏❤️ it's nice supporting local businesses!

I was really disappointed with my visit to Antichuchera Danessi in Norwalk. I had high hopes based on some reviews, but my experience was completely the opposite. First of all, the service was incredibly slow and the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping customers.

When I finally got my food, it was cold and didn’t taste fresh at all. The meat was tough and lacked flavor, and the sides were bland. On top of that, the portion sizes were small for the price they charge.

The place also didn’t feel very clean — tables were sticky, and no one seemed to be wiping them down between customers. Overall, it felt like they just didn’t care about quality or customer satisfaction.

I won’t be coming back and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good food or good service in the area.

I had a fantastic experience at Anticucheria Peruana. We drove 2.5 hours to get there, and it was absolutely worth the journey. The food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch. As a truly Peruvian-raised girl, I know my flavors, and this place nails it. If you're a fan of anticuchos, this is definitely the place to visit. The meat is perfectly seasoned with authentic Peruvian ingredients, bringing bold and delicious flavors. Don’t miss the picarones – they are absolutely divine and a perfect way to end the meal. If you're in the area, do not miss out on this hidden gem!
