Recommended 💯, it is the second time that I came to Chapala bakery from San Francisco to be able to eat the tamales that are delicious and the bread since the flavor is different..

I have never had any bad customer experiences, so I'm not sure who everyone else is dealing with. My family has been going to Chapala since it was still on Firestone. Their champurrado, conchas, and chirizo bolillos are our favorites.

Only one star wanted to give zero but not an option for review,, upon reading reviews 2 years later lady that everyone talks about being rude is still there! Sophia should definitely not be the face of this establishment,, very rude and throws change back at customer, and spoke to us very condescending,, definitely not going back!!! I see this has been addressed with previous complaints but nothing has been done

I bought a cake, the lady couldn't write anything on it or even had a decoration , and the cake tasted nasty, taste it like if when the freezer was left outside for a long time, nasty, had to dump it, never going back.

Everything in this bakery is always very good. The bread is always very soft fresh and good. The tamales have good portion of meat and sauce. Service is great, I have never had an issue they are always very nice and greet me. Will continue coming to this bakery.

(Translated by Google) Employees with a very bad temper, if they don't like their job, they should find another one. And the tamales only a little meat and the rest pure dough and the little meat on the tip nothing else. And the very clear champurrado is no longer made as before.(Original)Las empleadas de muy mal genio si no les gusta su trabajo que se busquen otro.

Oh so soft, yet crispy on the edges Conchitas! Best ones in all of LA County. Always fresh and very reasonably priced. Get there early for the fresh out of the oven goodies. Pans come out hot at 5am and, yes, I have gone out at that time to get the first hot batch. The ladies working the counter are all friendly and helpful. The tamales are so moist and tasty, I love the chicken tamales best. They have cookies and a bunch of other standard Mexican pastries to choose from. I have been a solid customer here since finding them earlier this year and I look forward to always coming back. I've tried another Chapala shop and although it was good, I truly believe the Norwalk shop is hands down the best. It can get busy around 6am-7am due to workers picking up breakfast/lunch, but the ladies move the line fast.
