I had tacos two each tripas and chicharron. They were good but the chicharron was wet and not what I expected, still good. The tortillas were slightly crispy and I really liked that. My love had a wet burrito plate with carnitas and he enjoyed it. I would definitely go back and recommend to others in the area to drop by, their menu has variety of plates and reasonably priced. The staff were great and spoke English and Spanish.
I'm only speaking for the burrito. I had the tripa and it was very disappointing. No rice which was a first for me on a burrito and tripa wasn't flavorful. Many better spots for a burrito. Also their red sauce lacked flavor and had no spice whatsoever. Tasted like the one you buy at Walmart in a jar.
El Taco Rico has been my favorite for years. But, the last two times the food was meh. I don't know if they changed hands or what but it's headed ⤵️ and I'm not liking it
