I called Joyce Bakery for a theme cake for a baby shower. The cake was exactly like the picture I sent and everyone in the store was raving about how moist and delicious the cake was. It was a shame we had to cut into it.

I ordered cake from this bakery solely based off Yelp reviews and they did NOT disappoint. I ordered a 2 tier'd round with rhinestones at the base for my mom's 60th birthday! I will admit, I was shocked when I came to pick up the cake and it was was given to me with no top, transporting was tricky even with a passenger! Needless to say, we made it to our destination w/2 tiers in tact and ready to be decorated by our florist! My top tier was chocolate and bottom was marble. It was moist & delicious for DAYS after. My family usually orders from Torrance Bakery, but Joyce will be our new bakery home!

Ordered a 1/2 sheet cake, everyone was super nice and helpful. I chose a chocolate flavored cake with chocolate fillings. I had doubts because I thought it would be too sweet, but this cake was perfectly balanced. Fluffy, moist, semi-sweet, and you don't get that chalky feeling of overdosing on chocolate lol. The frosting was sooooo fluffyyy. Was sold when they told me that they could put the GOAT CR7 on the cake to be fair lol. Definitely coming back.

Not sure what's changed with Joyce Bakery, but their skills are definitely off. This was my 4th order and what I ordered versus what I received was very different. The picture I provided is not the same as the cake my husband picked up. I emailed the bakery about this issue and received no response. This was a $75 cake for my SIL that looked like it was for a child. Customer service is a big part of returning business. And since I received no response in an attempt to remediate the issue, I will no longer be a returning customer.

This cake looked beautiful but sadly it was extremely dry. It was so dry that when I cut into it the cake completely crumbled and we had to serve it in crumbs to our guest for our event. I was so excited about this place seeing as it has such great reviews. Maybe the cake I ordered was just missing something. I've bought grocery store cakes that were better quality than this

I found this bakery online and decided to go based on the reviews. They were very friendly and did a great job overall. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is because I emailed the specs for the cake, and they missed 2 instructions. It wasn't detrimental, but I would have liked for them to read it before finalizing the cake. Good thing they were able to adjust one of the missed specs. The cake was delicious and very pretty overall. I will most def go back for another event. Thank you!
