Our go to Filipino bakeshop when we're in LA area. Lots of assorted Filipino bread/bake delicacies and that's so good that keeps you coming back. We prefer this Norwalk branch since it has more options than the Artesia branch. They run out of Salted Egg Ensaymada which I was excited since I haven't tried it but it's okay since there were still abundant choices that I can't resist. Customer service was excellent. Strongly recommended for your Filipino bakeshop cravings.

this is probably one of my favorite bake shops. They just got really good homemade Filipino pastries, my favorite the pan de sal, I also love their fruit salad and their empanada beef for me. services is always friendly and the store is always clean bonus for all of you guys who love making Ube cookies their hilaya so fresh, but go there early they always run out

Everything you want for Filipino cravings! They are all here! We were just here to get their Taro chips but as always ended up getting too many things! What we got: Taro chips, turon (spring roll kinda dessert - sweet plantain inside), vegetable roll, couple of Filipino crackers, Tamarind, bread, bread and more bread. They accept cash and credit cards, parking outside a lot. It's a little pricey yes but I will always come back.

This Luisa and Son location trumps the other one in Cerritos. This is my go-to spot for all the Filipino pastries and pandesal! It can get busy depending on the day/time you go, but worth the wait.

Been visiting several times now and they have a good variety of Filipino baked goods, snacks and sweets. When fresh, the ube bread is really good. The various flavors of sans rival are also good along with the really dense and cheesy cupcakes.

This bakery may have gotten some rave reviews of their products unfortunately these reviews has gotten to their heads that even just to answer the phone when someone calls is as important as the product. Called so many times in 2 days and no answer. Because of this quality of service they deserve a 1 star.

Nice Filipino bakeshop with a different touch and taste. Your bread are good, well done sweet bread done through sponge dough process. Nice to feel and taste of home here in LA. Your pan de sal and ensaimada are really good. Your counter crew are so nice and warmth, from neighboring Capiz? Thanks for everything.

There are a lot of good things here but unfortunately the woman working today was wearing perfume so the prepared hot foods she packed up for us reeked (and tasted!) of her perfume. It made all the wrappers and bag stink too. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves because I hate chemicals and fragrance so I throw out anything that smells and/or tastes like perfume, body lotion, etc because that’s just gross. Similarly, anything in the hot foods case near the register picks up an odor that you can taste in the dough of hopia and empanada.. its hard to describe (kind of soapy) but it makes things taste way off.I waste money every time I have to throw away a contaminated purchase. Food workers who wear these toxins should be more considerate of customers like me with multiple chemical sensitivity.. we actually get sick from things like perfume. I don’t even want to know if she actually baked or prepared food too because yuck. As a reviewer mentioned on Yelp her purchase tasted like cleaning solution and that was the case with my sans rival slice too (the odor went through the foil and plastic wrap to the cake so in the trash it went). I don’t know if the workers understand the products taste disgusting and can make people sick if they aren’t careful with chemicals near the food. It’s happened in the past too but these examples are recent. Food service workers are usually told not to wear scented products and I suggest they establish that policy here too.Employees are hit or miss. The young man with a mask at the register isn’t friendly nor is the woman in her late 30s or early 40s who is thin with round eyes and has what appears to be a permanent frown. That young woman also makes me anxious because she’s impatient, almost hyper and put extra stuff in our order we didn’t ask for then charged us for them. She makes me really uncomfortable and I miss the older women who are usually there. I don’t know if adding extra stuff was on purpose (probably because she kept trying to upsell us) or not because she doesn’t seem to speak English well.If things don’t smell or taste like chemicals from perfume and cleaning products this bakery is the best in the area. I like the ube yema roll, stuffed pan de sal, bola bola siopao, turon, any ensymada, chicken empanada, any mamon, yema, pinipig or crunchy polvoron, diniguan, halo-halo, cheese roll and any hopia. I DID NOT enjoy the pancit malabon (not enough flavor), pastillas (too hard / dense) or camaron relleno (weird small pieces and thick batter). I also ordered a ube cheese cupcake and the cheese was disgusting.. it was very hard, stale and stringy so I’m not sure if the pastry was old or if the cheese was burnt during baking. Also the prices are a little expensive but prices are high everywhere from inflation.

I've never been to a Filipino bakery before, but I am impressed! I grabbed a few things, and everything was absolutely tasty! My babies and I loved the cream cheese ensaimada; so much so that we finished it before leaving our parking spot, so I had to go back and get another one before we hit the road. They have cakes, breads, some hot food, nuts, drinks, and so much more. We got a few hot foods such as a huge vegetable egg roll thing; im not sure the exact name, but they were huge, crispy, and really good. The filling had carrots, potatoes, cabbage, and other goodies. Something that I also got and was absolutely great was the shrimp rellano. It was two shrimps coated in a pork and shrimp mixture that had some vegetables. They are served with sweet chili sauce, and oh my goodness, were they good. I also grabbed a few more of these on my return for the second cream cheese ensaimada. This place was very busy; the phone constantly rang, and people came in every few seconds to place an order for lumpia. I didn't place an order, but I will soon because I love lumpia, and this place was absolutely sensational. A lady even put an order of $400 worth of lumpia! So I'll trust the local people because they seem to know what a gem thi place is.
